Been doing golf tournament events for almost 30 years, and let me tell you, the Ologo Golf Tournament today was one for the BOOKS! ⛳🔥 What an absolutely incredible experience. Huge, heartfelt thanks to my FRIENDS/volunteers who showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and helped turn this into the spectacular fundraiser it became. This Black History Month, Real Girls Rock proudly honors @tiajakes a powerhouse executive, creative strategist, and community leader whose impact spans decades, industries, and generations.Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Tia’s journey is rooted in purpose, discipline, and vision. From studying Communications at Clark Atlanta University to earning her Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the State University of New York at Buffalo, she built a foundation that seamlessly blends business acumen with creativity.Since 1996, Tia has served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations for her family’s restaurant enterprise, overseeing strategy, finance, marketing, and workforce development across a multi-brand portfolio that included McDonald’s, Denny’s, Jersey Mike’s Subs, and Cowboy Chicken. Over a remarkable 29-year career, she helped hire, train, and develop more than 41,000 employees, while also consulting with hospitality brands throughout the Southeast — leaving systems stronger and people better than she found them.But Tia didn’t stop there.In 2005, she founded TwoSquared Entertainment, a boutique firm specializing in personal management, brand development, public relations, and event production — representing award-winning artists, athletes, and creatives. In 2021, she expanded her impact even further by launching Atlanta Cast Network, a podcast network at the intersection of sports, pop culture, relationships, and car culture — producing over 500 episodes and creating space for emerging voices to be heard.Deeply committed to service, Tia has served on the boards of multiple nonprofit organizations and remains actively engaged in youth development, arts advocacy, and community fundraising.
