I believe in women’s emancipation. I believe in the dignity, strength, freedom, and equal worth of women. But I do not believe that every idea promoted under the banner of modern #feminism is necessarily good—or should be accepted without question.

Some aspects of modern feminism, in my view, have taken a deeply disturbing direction, and from a spiritual perspective, even a demonic one.

We have seen women openly supporting abortion—the intentional ending of an innocent human life before birth. And now, in the Lindsay Clancy case, we see three innocent children who were killed, with the tragedy being discussed and, in some cases, rationalized through the mother’s mental health struggles.

What disturbs me even more is seeing women expressing sympathy for the person who took those children’s lives.

Yes, mental illness deserves compassion. A person who is suffering deserves help, treatment, and understanding. But compassion does not mean that we have to justify the taking of innocent human lives.

This is where I think we need to learn to look deeper.

When the police investigate a case, they don’t simply look at what is happening on the surface. They trace the money. They ask who is behind it, who benefits, and where everything ultimately leads.

Perhaps we should do the same before blindly defending a cause.

Who created the narrative?
Who is funding it?
Who benefits from it?
And what values are we being asked to accept along the way?

Being an activist for a particular cause does not automatically make us enlightened. Sometimes, the real intellectual work begins when we stop simply repeating what we have been told and start questioning the narrative itself.

An unexpected little detour with Mami 🤍

We were only supposed to transit through KL on our way home from Penang. Then our flight was disrupted, and eventually cancelled.

And somehow, while waiting for our next flight, we found ourselves with an unexpected day to wander around KL together.

Funny how Mami had mentioned that she wanted to spend some time exploring KL… and somehow, that little wish became our reality. 🥹

Maybe it wasn’t in our plans, but it was in His.

A little reminder that sometimes God writes the sweetest moments into the interruptions we never asked for.

So grateful for this unexpected Q-time with Mami. For the walks, the food, the little discoveries, the conversations, and simply having time together.

And through it all, everything is because of Jesus 🤍

Some trips are just vacations. This one was something more.

Praying at Padre Pio’s tomb, walking the ancient steps of Monte Sant’Angelo, sharing meals, laughing together, and simply spending time with the people God has placed in our lives.

A trip filled with faith, family, and friendships that continue to grow in Christ.

Feeling grateful for every moment. 🤍

An olive tree.
A rainbow.
A moon in the evening sky.

Rooted.
Faithful.
Guided.

Perhaps they were only ordinary sights.
Yet to me, they felt like answers.

The olive tree reminded me to stay rooted.
The rainbow reminded me of His promises.
And the moon brought to mind the Woman of Revelation.

In these small moments, I was reminded:
God is faithful.
God is near.
And God is already ahead of me.
