Originally, shooting from the car was a necessity; my accordion practice was squeezed pretty tight for time. I Kept that thing on my lap in order to have some pictures by the end of the week. Now it is a very considered part of Purple Time Space Swamp. How could I produce a true picture of a car city without making the car a considerable part of the practice? by @tiboncy

I'll still say "Illegal" over "Undocumented" and this is not for lack of care, not because I don't believe in language justice, not because I question anyone's humanity. I say it because it is honest and states the problem clearly: the law is a promise of violence from the few in power towards anyone (anyone!) they deem undesirable. The border is weaponized cartography. Are the Cold Ones in these streets looking for documents or brown skin? "Undocumented" sounds kinder, but it buries the lede, it confuses the issue. "Illegal" reveals the violence and the source. A bit counterintuitive, I know, but it is the more respectful term for those victims of injustice. by @tiboncy

Houston makes me think about metroidvanias a lot. Various biomes and their transitional rooms, severe aesthetic gear shifts, and significant chunks of it either hidden or ability gated. by @tiboncy
