Yo. I’m Tib Jeroy Van Dyke, Jr. I play drums. Born in Los Angeles and raised in the San Fernando Valley. I have African American and Filipino roots aka Blackapino. I spent 20+ years behind the kit, blending rhythms influenced by J. Dilla, Questlove, Travis Barker, John Bonham, Stewart Copland, Keith Moon, Tony Royster, Jr., and Eric Moore, to name a few. 🌈 🤍 There are some stories that remind you that divine timing doesn’t always follow our timeline, but it is never without purpose.Spending the evening with these two felt like stepping into one of those stories.As we wandered through the gardens, there was so much joy, so much laughter, and so much anticipation for the little miracle they’ve been praying for. Watching the way they cared for one another was a beautiful reminder that love isn’t just found in the big moments, it’s in the encouragement, the shared smiles, the gentle hands, and the constant faith that carries you through every season.Their rainbow baby is more than the beginning of a new chapter. They’re a testament to hope, to perseverance, and to the beauty of trusting that what is meant for you will arrive in its perfect time.It was such an honor to document this season of waiting before they get to hold the little one they’ve already loved so deeply.And as a sweet full-circle moment, Mom and I first met while working together at Disneyland 14 years ago. Seeing her again all these years later felt like another little reminder that some people are meant to cross our paths exactly when they’re supposed to.To miracles, to faith that never lets go, and to the beauty of divine timing. 🌈🤍 by @tibstagram
