“Arriving at each new city, the traveler finds again a past of his that he did not know he had: the foreignness of what you no longer are or no longer possess lies in wait for you in foreign, unpossessed places.”

I took so so soooo many pics at the @museelouvre but I’ll just show a few that caught my eye. How iconic, I can’t wrap my head around all of the historical masterpieces that I had the pleasure of viewing in just a day trip! taken in Louvre Musuem by @tica_425

Nesso felt like a dream and for a while it was one. To be there in person was absolutely stunning and unforgettable. I can finally say I jumped off the Orrido di Nesso!!

Thrifted this beautiful piece and its provenance is a fun mystery. Today I went to the Balboa Art Conservation Center and they gave me some helpful tips on cleaning and preserving. I was excited to find that some of the blemishes were intentional, to give it that old pre-Colombian look and learned that a damp cosmetic sponge should help with spot cleaning. I look forward to doing some more research to find out the inspiration of the images and confirm if they are Mayan. I can’t wait to display this in my home! by @tica_425
