There's a thing called the world that I just can't see enough of. Got me a pair of wings so I can come & go as I please!

Happy Birthday to Me!!! Jesus, Thank You for carrying me through this past year. Thank You for every blessing I saw and every blessing I didn’t even realize was happening behind the scenes. Thank You for protecting me, strengthening me, redirecting me, and loving me through every version of myself. Thank You for the lessons that humbled me, the moments that grew me, the doors You closed, and the doors You opened. Thank You for giving me grace when I didn’t have all the answers and for reminding me that Your plans for me are greater than anything I could create on my own. Thank you for a connection who has shown me that I don’t always have to be strong, guarded, or in control. That I can exhale. That I can feel safe. That I can be soft. And if being soft is something You are teaching me in this season, Lord, help me embrace it. I pray that 38 feels like exhaling. Like becoming. Like finally allowing myself to receive the goodness I’ve prayed for!

To little me: thanks for being bold, silly, and curious enough to set the foundation for the woman I am today. You had no idea what was coming, but you dreamed anyway.

To present me: girl, you’re doing it. You’ve stumbled, you’ve soared, you’ve laughed until you cried, and you’re still showing up — beautifully imperfect and perfectly human. I’m proud of you.

To my future self — I trust you. I know you will keep building a life that feels like home, embracing everything with grace, courage, and maybe a little sparkle too. I can’t wait to meet you!

37 isn’t an ending or a beginning. It’s a bridge between who I was, who I am, and who I am still becoming. taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @tickle_me_ty
