POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Outlast: The Jungle is live on Netflix. We spent a good part of the summer in the Pearl Islands off the coast of Panama following some highly motivated folks on their quest to win one million dollars. Gotta shout out our Big Dad @odairski first for getting his bosses to say okay to some uncharted territory. Big thank you. Then it’s a maaajor thank you to our beloved CAMERA DADDY @rossradcliffe for an invite to join this extremely elite squad and his laser focus on the task at hand. So many folks to thank so I’ll keep it tidy. To Jackson @morebacklightpls for being way better at camera thangs than I’ll ever be and for going on every single excursion outside of camp. The beach is where souls go to evaporate and he made it back every time. To Roland @collidethescopes for never missing a beat or a battery or a card or a lens, burning the midnight oil so we were dialed every morning and for being Thee Ultimate Vibez Guy. Mooch graws, meeho. To @try_pod who has to keep up with everything that’s going on between 4-16 people at every moment and fend off desperate starving humans and their comments, questions, complaints at every turn while also being able to play the long game to get the line. Masterclass. To Big AL @alisyng for doing all of it, like everything, but still keeping it chill. We set the bar pretty high for future mango and coconut consumption. And to Jaime Hermanos @jaimebrothers who had the insane task of herding every single cat on the island 24/7 which is a skill you can only acquire genetically from birth because none of us will ever fill your tiny boots. In conclusion, this was the journey of a lifetime with the absolute best humans in the game. It started before sunrise and the beat would build all day. Everyone helped, hugged and supported each other in every way and we knew in those moments that what we were doing was special. Love this crew now and forever. Thank you all so much. by @ticklefarts

Heartbroken. We lost a real hero. This dude saved my life on more than one occasion and kept all of us alive more times than we will ever know. You can’t just go to Alaska and do what we do. You need someone that knows the land, the weather, the danger. Travis grew up outside and thrived in the vastness. We spent countless hours on boats and on rivers, from dry to frozen. I have stories for a lifetime with him as the main character and I will tell them as long as I live. Gone far too soon. Thank you forever and love you forever, Travis. taken in Nome, Alaska by @ticklefarts

Hey fans. Totally forgot to tell you I went to Alaska for television’s Deadliest Catch. We celebrated my 10th season (no one celebrated) and let me tell you it did not disappoint. A typhoon, an earthquake, good fart days, buckets of ranch and barrels of laughs. 10/10 would party again. Big shoutout to the A/V squad for keeping it profesh. #catch22 taken in Norwegian Rat Saloon by @ticklefarts

This deserves a standalone hard post and not to be chopped down by Instagram parameters. These fine gents head out at all hours of the day as a one man army to document maniacal behavior in undesirable conditions. It’s mostly thankless so why not give them the hero treatment. Thanks dudes. Let’s run it back when the dust settles. taken in Milanos by @ticklefarts

Hey. Me again. Just wanted to let the world know there’s a new season of Bering Sea Gold airing now on all your devices. Record numbers of gold were harvested at record prices. I saw it with my own eyes. So give it a gander and hug your friends in television. It’s an uncertain future at the moment but hey, let’s dance. taken in Milanos by @ticklefarts

Brotherrrrr. Bucket list trip to the Black Hills for the 85th Sturgis Rally. The plan was hatched by @installite and the oath was taken. Due to time constraints we started from Golden, CO and headed east to hit the highways northbound through Nebraska. Did you know they have a pine forest? If not you do now. We soldiered on and as we got closer the amount of motorcycles increased until Rapid City, SD where the highway was full as can be with two wheelin’ brothers and sisters. We had the privilege of staying with two of the most hospitable humans on earth, Dorian and Kira. They fed us well and introduced us to their clan who took us in as one of their own. Truly magical when you can get the history of everything in front of you. As far the rally itself, it can not be captured in any medium. Half a million likeminded people descend on a small town to revel in the culture they live and breathe. It’s hard to fathom the magnitude of this 2 week celebration. You really just have to go see it for yourself. It’s hard to even see your friends. I did pass @jbreww leading the pack, in shorts, on highway 14 into Deadwood. I also literally bumped into an SB legend @tottengeorge on Main St. So good to see you still doing it buddy. We saw some amazing motorcycles and ate some amazing food. The trip started with some electrical gremlins in one of the bikes and finally upon departure it revealed its full strength. One bike down, the decision was made and I went on alone. We hugged in a parking lot in Newcastle, WY and I spent the next 4 hours leaning into a stiff wind trying to pilot my machine back to Golden. Despite the ending it was still mission accomplished. Two longtime buds riding Harley-Davidson’s to, on and slightly from the most hallowed ground in motorcycle culture. Grateful doesn’t do it justice. Blessed seems cliche. Maybe it’s just thank you. taken in Sturgis, South Dakota by @ticklefarts

Hey fans. I’m at a bit of a loss for words for what just went down but “A Herculean effort” might scratch the surface. The squad left it all on the court and I think we captured lightning in a bottle. It was the hardest job I’ve ever done by a long shot. Alaska sounds like a vacation compared to entering the jungle and I don’t think any of us were truly prepared. We hammered through it though. Intense heat, devastating humidity, unrelenting invisible insects, biblical rain, and the constant threat of heatstroke were just a few of the hurdles we encountered. None if this is possible without my brother in arms and our fearless Director of Photography @rossradcliffe who never wavered and showed everyone what it takes to be great. Forever indebted. Since I legally can’t tell the world where and I was and for how long, here’s a series of selfies that make it look like we were at summer camp and no one questioned their mortality at any point. This crew is absolutely the definition of family and watching every member step up to support the person next to them inspired me daily. Love you all. So stay tuned for something special while I keep limping around remembering random wild events that felt like they unfolded over the course of years. by @ticklefarts

When @n665cc says get in the plane, you don’t say no. I had no clue what to expect on this one but my mind was blown. @jbreww and the boys run a top notch operation and flirt with danger like it’s their day job. Give him a follow and enjoy the madness when it drops tonight. It’s gonna be hard to beat but I don’t doubt they will do just that in no time flat. #skiddz #poffinwhillies taken in Middlegate Station by @ticklefarts

Hey fans. Rode this motorcycle across a couple states. Lots of time to think. Here’s where I landed. 1) The Smiths are a common thread among audiophiles. From metal fans to classical nerds to hip hop heads. Can’t explain it. 2) I recently heard a veteran turned coffee guy tell a comedian/mma guy that “psychology is more contagious than the flu.” Wouldn’t it be rad if there was a major gratitude outbreak? Wishful thinking but not impossible. 3) If Ice Cube ran to be the official mayor of LA it might be the most lopsided victory in political history. His rallies would be insane. 4) The American Southwest is underrated. The landscapes are breathtaking and vast. Plus you might see aliens. 5) A new friend just celebrated one year of sobriety and it made me cry. I know what it takes to get there and it impresses me every time someone pulls it off. It’s the epitome of “be the change.” Bonus thought: Everyone should try to ride a motorcycle if they can. The full sensory thought mill that it induces is medicinal in my opinion. “Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul.” Pretty sure Lincoln said that. taken in The Extraterrestrial Highway by @ticklefarts

Love. In its purest form. We were absolutely honored to witness two top tier humans make it official amongst the trees and a perfectly curated group equally loving individuals. From start to finish, this was a gathering for the ages. Having known Chrissy and Dave since the very very beginning of their relationship, it is not a surprise that the night was absolutely magical. I can not express my love and admiration for each of them here because I will probably cry too much and there’s not enough characters allowed in this post. Thank you to both of you for allowing us into your lives and hearts. Oliver adores both of you and you’re always gonna win there with the casual F1 car cocktail hour flex. This evening was a solid reminder that love and community and commonality still reign supreme. Times like these remind me to lead with my heart, hug everyone you love and that vegan food is excellent. Thank you Chrissy and Dave for letting us be part of this very special day. We love you so much. taken in Rally Ready by @ticklefarts

Hear ye hear ye! A new season of @beringseagold premieres tonight on @discovery. This was my first go around as Director of Photography of the show and boy was it an adventure. It takes a giant village to pull these things off. To the camera team I want to extend my highest admiration. Tasked with manning a multitude of systems and tracking a story while standing in temperatures of 20 below zero, you are heroes. To the production team of @sublea @choco_legs and @chmello20 who have to roll with the punches of this ever changing amoeba, I hope you get to take a nap someday. From the creative side, my beanie is off to Jeff Meredith, Jerod Ashton and @adinfinum. Finally to my team, @yes_on_wes who knows my next move and keeps the world functioning above and below the surface, I can never thank you enough. Can’t forget @ajaxguns who came in at a moments notice to go under the ice with me to watch my six. Sisters forever. Special shoutout to @katie_and_oliver for granting me the time to go chase these highs (and lows.) So go give it a watch. It was the most insane ice formation I’ve seen in all my years. Truly spooky and unnerving. I’d say it’s the best ice season yet but I’m biased of course. taken in Nome, Alaska by @ticklefarts
