Two weeks until I get to see this sweet man. Two weeks until I can wrap my arms around you and feel your warmth. I can’t wait to explore again, get lost on purpose, and sleep in with you. You’re my home. 💖 by @tid_bitty

Kirby, you were my first little love. 💕

You and I went through so much together during a time when I was still figuring out where I wanted to live and who I was. We traveled, explored, and grew up together.

Even though Mom “babysat” you forever because she wouldn’t give you back lol, I always knew you were just a drive away. I loved how your ears would perk up when you heard my voice on the phone. You’d come running over to sniff the phone, then sit beside Mom while we talked.

And whenever I came home, nobody else mattered but me. Sorry, Mom.

I’ll love you forever, my sweet boy. 🐾🤍 by @tid_bitty

Prepare it’s a long emotional post😭 As I get ready to board my plane, I’m preparing to leave my husband behind for almost six weeks—and honestly, this is one of the most emotional things I’ve ever done.

Yes, I know it isn’t forever. I know “distance makes the heart grow fonder” and all that… but it isn’t just leaving him for six weeks. It’s leaving my home, my person, my best friend, my therapist, and my personal complaint department. 😂

For the past three months, Brandon and I have spent every single day together—exploring, enjoying life, and experiencing so many new things. We’ve faced plenty of hurdles along the way, but no matter what happened, we always had each other. During this time, we’ve grown so much, both as individuals and as a couple.

Of course I’m going to miss my dogs more than I can explain, but I’m going to miss Brandon most of all. He’s there through every good day and every bad one, always ready with the sweetest hugs. No matter the situation or the outcome, he continues to choose me and chooses to stand beside me.

Six weeks might not sound like forever, but when someone is such a big part of your everyday life, it certainly feels like it. I already can’t wait to come home to my little family. ❤️ by @tid_bitty

How the hell did my car’s extended warranty find me all the way in Asia? ☎️🤨😂 by @tid_bitty

This time 2 years ago we had our first big adventure in Hawaii, and the day we got back we started trying to plan the next one. What started as a plan to spend a week in Japan ended with us getting rid of everything we owned and deciding to travel the world. We’ve spent the last 3 months traveling through Southeast Asia with many stops to go. But it truly has been the next big adventure. by @tid_bitty
