Photographing boudoir in a non-conventional way is my absolute favorite. I don't necessarily believe that it always has to be so hyper focused on the provocative, but perhaps more of the implication.
Our bodies are their own artistry. Truly such a magnificent thing. Self-healing, self-protective, adaptive, sensory, and storytelling from the scars we bare, to the tattoos on our skin.
Many of us began hating our bodies from a very young age, but your body carries you through every season of your life. Even the ones most ill. Imagine if you saw it through different lenses, in a way you just never knew possible. I believe that every person has the right to experience themselves in that way.

How do you think it would make you feel to be captured in this light?

The art I create doesn’t sleep in a digital folder for you to forget about.
The art I create doesn’t get lost in a gallery of frivolous selfies.
It lives on your walls, in your hands, BEYOND the digital age.
It holds memory, revelation, and power.
Evidence of who you are right now, to be remembered and inspired by tomorrow and forever.

Sometimes when I see people, I don’t exactly see them as they are presenting to me, but I see them the way I’d photograph them. Some people have a certain look to them that totally transports me to a different time. Rini is definitely one of those people.

This gorgeous wall enlargement will be available soon for a limited time only. If you’d like to own one of my works, signed, and receive a gift voucher that goes toward a commissioned experience with me, stay tuned for further updates ~

This ethereal cherub is @_sailor_pug_ and she was adorned with a chestpiece exclusively designed by @jezebelsfascination.

With this incredible artwork I've created with @sailor_pug, I pray that all of you be loved not just today, but everyday. If anyone may be feeling lonely on a day like today, just know that there is someone out there looking everywhere for someone like you, whether it be a friend or lover.
Remember to always set special time to embrace yourself with warmth and love.
Rini posed gracefully in her cherub-esque nature, embodying a painted muse ~

A portrait should not be bound by the moment it was taken. It should live beyond trends, beyond filters, beyond the fleeting moment of what feels “in.”

When being photographed, I want my subjects to dig deep and be introspective about the self they wish to present to the world. Maybe you share the same cheekbone structure as your beloved grandmother. Maybe you have your late father’s eyes. Maybe you have curls that you have passed on to your own child.

Whatever makes you uniquely yourself, I want to immortalize it for the world to see and you to love.
