Burning Man, my home for 12 years. It’s a place that taught me to be a kid again. It’s a place that taught me how to be tough and persevere no matter how hard the circumstances are in the wind, dust, rain, mud, the cold and the chaos. It helped me connect with some of the most talented expressive people in the world. It’s truly the home of the world’s greatest talent show. To help a community when in need but also teach someone to be self reliant when needed. You have the option to fuck their burn, bless their burn or do nothing

From my first Burn I learned how much waste is created by my daily habits and the items I purchase triple wrapped in plastic. How to be resourceful and create structures. And mostly it’s expanded my state of consciousness. It’s allowed me to fundraise, contribute, and recruit talent for some amazing communities like The bureau of misinformation, Trifucta, Camp Questionmark, Abduction, The Gallery, Bangers at Breakfast, Swan Forest, and Longfeng.

For those that love to bash on artists like @diplo and @johnsummit just remember they give their time from their extremely demanding schedules to provide you entertainment. They deserve to get to Burn too so that they don’t get burn out like many artists.

My nostalgic wish is that burning man would return to its old principles. It’s sad at times to see how much consumption and waste there is that is contributed to one week, but at least it teaches people valuable lessons. I hope to see this as a community to change and for more sustainably to be thought through. I also really miss seeing the unbranding and covering of major brands like U-Haul and Cruise America.

Thank you @burningman and my camp this year @swanforestcamp plus everyone I have shared the playa with. Remember to thank your build and strike teams. And dont forget to be a participant not a spectator.

Take a moment to consider donating to the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe whose land is often taken advantage of by Burners.

From Malibu Barbie to lost in the jungle Barbie - causing trouble off the map. Somehow I navigated my way back to LA. 🗺️

This past month was unforgettable, I got a tiny bare bones apartment in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, learned to surf at @maryna.world, bought a quad, and made about 50 friends who’s name I can’t remember. At times it felt as if I was living at Burning Man. Everyday was filled with joy and problems. by @tiegkills
