What an incredibly special night 🥰 The Barbie Karaoke Party was a huge success and every Ken and Barbie looked absolutely fabulous! Pictures don’t do our dashing great looks justice. I really wanted to hop in the pool, but got so pleasantly distracted by all the stars at the show. Being in LA we are often tossed and tumbled into these mansion parties or high profile events, and though they are quite enjoyable as well, it’s really something special to find that inner child within. Don’t forget to let go, be your true self, have fun, play, laugh, and dress up on whatever day you choose besides Halloween! In the end (it doesn’t even matter), life is so fleeting we need reminders to take in what’s most important. Life, connections, karaoke, and snacks 😘 thank you to everyone who came and made this night unforgettable. Big shout out to my roommates who went out of their way to help with the party prep! by @tiffa_minsal
Since my move to LA, I've been a part of @taikoproject adult beginner classes. There are many reasons for my joining, and now many reasons for staying. Thank you Maz, Jenny and Bryan for everything you teach us, from not only how to hit the taiko drum, but how to respect it as well. #goals #bejenny #beaMAZing #bebryan by @tiffa_minsal
I never got to say goodbye... I never got a fair warning of your suffering. The way I found out you left was the most heartbreaking. You've always been my baby. No matter how much time passed between my visits you remembered me. You were the one thing that held me together during rough times in FL. You left too soon...I knew too late, I doubt you got the burial you deserve. I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you. You were my fur child and not just some cat. I love you, I miss you, I wish I could have seen you one last time ❤️ by @tiffa_minsal
❣️My heart is heavy right now❣️ April 16th, my beautiful niece Mariyah was in a devastating accident. She’s currently in the ICU, fighting for her life, and had to undergo emergency brain surgery (craniotomy). 🌸 Mariyah is a mother, a daughter, a sister, a bright light to everyone who knows her. Her little girl needs her. We need her. 🙏🏽We’re praying for healing, strength, and a miracle. If you’re able to share a prayer, her story, or offer support, it would mean the world to us. ⭐️Thank you for holding her in your heart during this time. https://gofund.me/586e6752 (GoFundMe link also in bio.) by @tiffa_minsal
Had a blast at the company Halloween night party! 🎃 Got to decorate my crutches, make little clock part accessories, and see fellow employees for the first time. So wild seeing them in person when I’m so used to their Zoom faces. @nally462 by @tiffa_minsal
My very first Japanology event at @shumeipasadena . Big thank you to Shingo for inviting me to this special event. I sold out of everything!!! It wouldn’t have been possible to make as much wagashi if it wasn’t for my roommate @nally462 as well. I even had my experimental mango sticky rice mochi there which everyone loved 🥰. Feeling so grateful to all that made this possible and the lack of sleep I got 🤣. Thank you to all who visited! #matcha #wagashi #Japanology #tea #japanesedessert by @tiffa_minsal
Getting around to posting some photos from Barbie Karaoke finally! What a great turnout, everyone looked fabulous and really enjoyed themselves with the Barbie box. The Kens did splendidly in helping out. They are “great at doing stuff!” Being able to laugh, smile, and dress up like this with friends is so special. Really wish I could have had more time to get to know all of you beautiful souls more. I’m thinking game night next time or beach day 🏖️ I adore you all 😘 thank you for being my friends in this lifetime. by @tiffa_minsal
Some selfies from the past 6 years I’ve been in Los Angeles. I miss traveling, but I’m so grateful for all the experiences that L.A. and its people have given me. I used to travel all over and never settle down in one place. Los Angeles has been the place I’ve stayed at the longest besides where I grew up. So much great food, people, and things to do here! I can climb mountains, go to the beach, climb giant sand dunes, and see snow. Of course there’s all the challenges and cliche gripes but trying to find the good and beauty in all the chaos is more fun. 1. At an event in a house that had a light show. 2/3. Steampunk style for Halloween. 4. Pumpkin carving for another Halloween. 5. An art show I was a part of at Gallery Nucleus. 6. Mural I painted at an old friend’s acupuncture clinic. He thought the projected image was cool on me so he took the shot. 7. Leather jacket cause I’m a cool kid 🥸 8. At an art museum. 9. Taken when I used to play taiko drums. 9. Having high tea with a good friend. by @tiffa_minsal
Had a wonderful time at the Sakura Festival in Glendale today with @malamaainakailani by @tiffa_minsal
Feeling like the luckiest gal in the world right now. Got to share my wagashi with many talented chefs @industryonlyla Everyone bringing their best game here. All the food and tea I’ve tried has been so incredible! I feel so thankful to @sushimikela for allowing me to be a part of this event with him and his crew. Everyone was loving the wagashi! Got some great shops to collaborate. I’m very excited for my future in this, 2 months down in wagashi making and many more to come! Watch out LA 😎 by @tiffa_minsal
Had fun with these two goofballs, loved seeing the people behind us while we were taking silly photos. Thank you @malamaainakailani for showing us around The Huntington and giving us the tour of the Shoya House. The architecture and rich history behind this is so fascinating, imported straight from Japan. 7 years to get this house up and viewable, no nails used. @yoyothericecorpse I had your full fit on today! Love it so much. The quality is amazing! by @tiffa_minsal
