Please help our pups! We have placed many dogs in amazing foster and adoptive homes, and we at so thankful! We also have amazing pups whose fosters cut the commitments short or where adopters backed out. We have been hiring pet sitters and at 40-80 a day per pup that is not sustainable. We want them to have the best most loving homes!
Bougie, Otis, Moses, Jeffrey and Peggy, Colbert, Mouse, Axle, Freyja, Daisy, Rocky, Dexter, Bailey, Cocheck (we must clear his training bill asap and find a foster), Indii, Koala, Evie, Jeffrey, Paulina, Milo and Adonis, Bobo, Ricky, Courage and Marty, Fatima, Ollie Bella these pups need longer term Foster’s urgently as well as Axle, Maple, Lola Renzo ..please step up so many of our pups most of them are also dog friendly!! 💔🐾Hi, my name is Lily. I’m nine years old, and I never imagined I’d be starting over.🐾💔 #A5189894

Once upon a time, I had a home. I knew what it meant to belong to someone, to have a place in the world where I was loved. But somehow, here I am, a senior girl at the Santa Clarita Valley Animal Care Center, waiting for someone to give me another chance.🥹

At nine years old, I’m not asking for much. I don’t need a lifetime of grand adventures or endless days of puppy chaos. I dream of a soft bed, a gentle hand resting on my head, a cozy place to nap, and someone who will let me spend my golden years knowing I am safe and loved.💕🌟

I’m a Pit Bull girl, and beneath this beautiful face is a heart that deserves to be seen for who I am, not judged by my breed or my age. Pit Bulls can be wonderfully affectionate, loyal companion who form deep bonds with their people. And there is something truly special about opening your heart to a senior dog. What you see is more of the grown-up companion you’re welcoming into your life, and the love you give them can mean everything.

I may be nine, but my story doesn’t deserve to end in a shelter. My golden years should be filled with dignity, comfort, and the simple joy of belonging to someone again. I have already known what it means to have a home. Please, let me know what it feels like to have one again.🏡💔

💕🐾Hi, i’m COPPER… Just a nine-month-old baby girl puppy looking for someone to believe in me!🐾💕 #A5803098

I used to have a home, but now I find myself at the Santa Clarita Valley Animal Care Center, hoping someone will give me another chance.💔 I’m still a baby in so many ways, and I wonder if maybe no one had the time to teach me everything I need to know about being the very best dog I can be.

I have a no livestock requirement for my new family, so I’ll need a home that understands this important part of my needs and can keep everyone safe. But please remember, I’m still learning! I didn’t come into this world knowing all the rules, and what I haven’t learned yet shouldn’t mean I don’t deserve a future.❤️

As a Bloodhound mix, I may have inherited a wonderful nose for exploring, a curious nature, and the determination to follow an interesting scent wherever it leads! Bloodhounds are known for their incredible sense of smell, and life with one can mean lots of sniffing adventures, enrichment games, and opportunities to explore the world together.🌏🗺️🐾

And the beautiful thing about adopting a puppy? We still have so much growing to do! With patience, positive training, consistency, and love, you can help shape the confident, well mannered-companion I’m meant to become. I need someone to see my potential, not just the things I haven’t learned yet.

Once upon a time, I had a home. I had a person, a familiar face, and a life I thought would always be mine. But when my owner got into legal trouble, my whole world changed. Through no fault of my own, I lost the life I knew, and now I find myself waiting at the Santa Clarita Valley Animal Care Center, hoping someone will give me a chance.😢

I’m just a two-year old American Pit Bull Terrier girl. I don’t understand legal troubles or why life sometimes falls apart. I only know that I’m no longer home, and I’m waiting for someone to see me and decide that I’m worth loving, too.💔

I didn’t do anything wrong. I didn’t ask for my world to change. And I don’t understand why I have to lose everything because of circumstances beyond my control.

I still have so much life ahead of me! So many sunny mornings to enjoy, walks to take, toys to discover, and quiet evenings to spend curled up beside someone who loves me. Pit Bulls can be wonderfully affectionate, loyal companions, and I dream of having the chance to build that special bond with someone who will never give up on me.

Please don’t let my story end with a shelter kennel and a broken routine. I have so many more chapters left to write, and I desperately need someone to help me turn the page.

🎉🐾Kenzo has a new beginning!🐾

Guess what, everyone? It’s me, KENZO!💙 Your favorite seven-month-old Akita puppy who stole many hearts at the Santa Clarita Valley Animal Care Center. I have some AMAZING news… I’ve been adopted by @spcala ! 🫶🥹

I’m still just a puppy with so much to learn, so many adventures ahead, and a whole lot of love waiting to be discovered. Being given this opportunity means I have people rooting for me, caring for me, and helping me on my journey toward the wonderful future, I deserve.🐶🌟

A HUGE thank you to everyone who shared my story, advocated for me, and cheered me on. Every share helps spread hope for animals like me! And thank you to the incredible SCV Animal Care Center staff and volunteers for taking such good care of me while I waited for my next chapter. You helped me get here, and I’ll always be grateful.🐾💙

Somehow, I found myself dumped at the Santa Clarita Valley Animal Care Center, and my little heart is still trying to understand this big, unfamiliar world.💔 I’m a Shepherd mix girl who is a little timid, but please don’t mistake that for a lack of love. I just need someone to help me learn that the world can be a safe and beautiful place.

I’m only a baby, with so much growing, learning, and loving ahead of me! With patience, kindness, and gentle guidance, I can blossom into a confident, loyal companion. Shepherds are known for their intelligence, devotion, and eagerness to learn, and puppyhood is such a wonderful time to build trust, teach new things, and grow together.🐶🩷
