Two of my mentors once asked me a question that made me realize how small my ambitions had become. I'd just described my vision for the future. I thought it was rather ambitious, actually. They listened and said, 'Is that it? Is that all you want?' I was stunned. What they didn't know was how much I'd already stretched my imagination to describe that life. I was dreaming as far as my circumstances would let me see. It took me a while to understand that I was treating my current limitations as though they were permanent. And I wonder how many women do the same when they think about earning money of their own. You don't need to have a grand business idea or a huge following to begin. You can start by looking at what you already know, what you've learned to do well, and which problems you could help someone solve. That's the starting point inside The Breathing Room Method. I help you turn your experience into a digital product, with an app to guide the work and weekly group coaching for 90 days. It's $47 right now. You'll find it in my bio. #WomenStartingOver #DigitalProductCreation #WomenInBusiness #PersonalAgency #CareerReinvention by @tiffanyaingle

I used to prepare arguments for decisions I hadn't even made yet. I'd imagine who might disapprove, what they'd say, and how I could explain myself convincingly enough to avoid an unpleasant conversation. An enormous amount of mental effort went into managing objections that were sometimes never raised. And the strangest part? I'd already decided what I wanted. But I still felt the need to receive approval from someone else. There's a difference between taking someone else's feelings into account and appointing them the final authority over your life. I've become much more interested in that distinction. What's one decision you've made that became easier once you stopped trying to get everyone to agree with it? #PersonalAgency #WomenMakingDecisions #SelfTrust #HealthyBoundaries by @tiffanyaingle

I love my children more than I can adequately explain. I also want to travel, build things, read books, spend time with interesting people, and pursue ambitions that have absolutely nothing to do with being their mother. I don't see why those statements should be in conflict. Somewhere along the way, women began treating having a life of our own as evidence that we weren't sufficiently devoted to everyone else's. But I don't want my children to remember a mother who was endlessly useful and otherwise impossible to describe. I want them to know me. My opinions. My sense of humor. My interests. The things I tried and the things I got wrong. What part of yourself would you like the people you love to know better? #WomenAndIdentity #BeyondMotherhood #PersonalAgency #LivingIntentionall by @tiffanyaingle

You can seek advice without handing someone else the authority to make your decisions. Those are two different things, but it's easy to confuse them when you've spent years feeling responsible for making your choices understandable to everybody around you. You explain what you want. Then you explain why. Then you anticipate objections, defend your reasoning, and wonder whether you're allowed to proceed if somebody still disagrees. When you're starting over, that process can leave you stuck. Not every decision needs to settle the direction of your entire life. Some decisions are experiments. You try something, learn from it, and decide what comes next. Wanting more financial independence is a reasonable goal. You don't have to prove that you're destined to run a business before you explore one possible way of earning money. For example, you could look at your existing experience and ask whether there's a problem you know how to solve that somebody else would pay to understand. You could develop a small digital product around that problem, put it in front of potential customers, and learn from their response. That's a sequence of decisions you can make thoughtfully. It isn't a promise that every idea will sell, and it doesn't require you to stake your entire future on one attempt. The Breathing Room Method teaches that process: identify your assets, choose a product idea, create an offer, and learn how to market it. You'll have the step-by-step book, companion app, and 90 days of weekly live group coaching with me. Your next chapter belongs to you. Advice can inform it. Other people's approval doesn't have to determine it. The Breathing Room Method is $47. The link is in my bio. #WomenStartingOver #PersonalAgency #FinancialOptions #DigitalProducts by @tiffanyaingle

Notice how quickly a compliment can turn into a list of disclaimers. Someone tells you you've done something well, and you explain that it wasn't difficult. You had help. Anybody could have done it. It was nothing. Of course you can acknowledge the people who contributed. But that doesn't require you to erase your own contribution. When you're starting over, this matters because you need an accurate account of what you bring with you. Not an inflated one. An accurate one. Think about the work you've done that other people regularly thank you for. The questions they ask you. The systems you know how to organize. The things you've learned through years of experience that a beginner still finds confusing. If your immediate response is, 'Oh, that's nothing,' you may be dismissing something somebody else would value enough to pay for. A digital product can be a way of packaging a specific piece of knowledge so another person can learn from it without needing your time one-on-one. It might be a guide, template, workbook, or another resource that solves a clear problem. But the first step is recognizing that what comes easily to you may represent years of learning. That's where The Breathing Room Method begins. I'll help you take inventory of your experience, identify a product idea with a clear customer and purpose, build it, and learn how to market it. The step-by-step book, companion app, and 90 days of weekly live group coaching with me are included. You can say thank you for the compliment. You can take credit for your work. And you can explore whether your knowledge could become something you sell. The Breathing Room Method is $47. Imagine doing everything you were told would make a good life. The marriage. The children. The house. The respectable career. And then finding yourself wondering whether you actually chose that life or simply followed the instructions. I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting those things. I wanted some of them myself. What interests me is how rarely we're encouraged to question the list. Maybe you want to raise a family and run a business. Maybe you want to travel alone. Maybe you want a very ordinary Tuesday with absolutely nobody making demands on your time. The point isn't to replace one prescribed version of success with another. It's to find out which parts of the life you're building are actually yours. If you could remove one expectation from your definition of a successful life, which would it be? #DefineSuccess #WomenAndIdentity #LifeReinvention #PersonalAgency by @tiffanyaingle

Women are often encouraged to be capable, but not so confident that anyone feels uncomfortable around them. Know what you're doing, but don't talk about it too much. Achieve something, but immediately explain who helped. Be accomplished, but make sure nobody thinks you're impressed with yourself. That habit can follow you into a new chapter of your life. And it has consequences beyond how you introduce yourself at a dinner party. When you're starting over, you need to recognize what you're capable of. You need to be able to name the work you've done, the problems you've solved, and the judgment you've developed. If you keep dismissing those things, you may overlook assets that could help you create more independence. Selling something you've made requires you to say, with clarity, what it does and why someone might want it. That's not arrogance. It's communication. You don't need to pretend you're an expert in everything. You do need to stop apologizing for the areas where you have earned expertise. Inside The Breathing Room Method, we begin with that inventory. We identify the knowledge and experience you already have, find a problem you can help someone solve, and develop a digital product around it. Then we work on how to market that offer so a potential customer can understand its value. You'll get the step-by-step book, companion app, and 90 days of weekly live group coaching with me. You don't have to make yourself smaller to be likable. And you don't have to make your accomplishments sound insignificant to sell something based on what you know. The Breathing Room Method is $47. Find it through the link in my bio. #WomenStartingOver #PersonalAgency #DigitalProducts #Reinvention by @tiffanyaingle

I don't think every role in your life needs to be abandoned the moment you start questioning it. Sometimes you still want the role. You simply don't want the terms you've been living under. You can love being a mother and want to remain deeply involved in your children's lives. You can want to be a wife without accepting a marriage where your needs, opinions, and ambitions are treated as inconveniences. You can care about your work and stop being available every evening. And you can be a dependable friend without becoming everyone's unpaid personal assistant. I never had a problem with being a wife. I had a problem with the way I was treated in my marriage. There's a rather significant difference. The useful question isn't always, "Do I want this in my life?" Sometimes it's, "If I were agreeing to this arrangement today, knowing everything I know now, would I accept the same terms?" And if the answer is no, you're allowed to take that answer seriously. #BeyondTheRoles #HealthyBoundaries #WomenAndIdentity #PersonalAgency by @tiffanyaingle

You don't have to regret entire chapters of your life just because you want something different now. I don't believe every painful experience happened to teach you a lesson. Some things were simply awful. But when you're ready for something different, you don't have to throw away every skill, insight, and interest you developed along the way. You can leave a marriage without abandoning the woman you were before it. You can change careers without discarding years of professional judgment. Starting again doesn't mean starting with nothing. That matters especially if you're thinking about earning money in a new way. The skills and judgment you've already developed may be the foundation for something you can build yourself. That's the thinking behind The Breathing Room Method. I don't expect you to arrive with a perfect business idea or a following. I'll help you identify what to sell, develop your first digital product, and learn how to market it. Weekly live group coaching with me is included for 90 days. The Breathing Room Method is $47, and you can find it through the link in my bio. #TransferableSkills #WomenInBusiness #DigitalProducts #PersonalAgency by @tiffanyaingle

When you think about the life you're working toward, ask yourself: Is this what I actually want, or what I've been taught to want? There are plenty of ways to build a life you love. The point is choosing what matters to you. What interests me is how often we inherit that list without ever asking whether it's ours. I followed parts of the script. Some brought me enormous joy. Others turned out very differently from what I'd imagined. These days I'm more interested in making deliberate choices than looking as though I've checked all the right boxes. That includes the way I earn a living and the freedom I want my work to give me. If you've been wondering what you could sell, this is exactly where I begin with women inside The Breathing Room Method. We identify the experience and knowledge you already have, find a problem you know how to solve, and build your first digital product. You also get 90 days of weekly live group coaching with me. The program is $47 right now. Link in bio. #WomenAndIdentity #PersonalAgency #WomenStartingOver #LifeReinvention by @tiffanyaingle

I've heard women described as though their circumstances were a complete personality assessment. Divorced. Single mother. Unemployed. Starting over. And from those few facts, people somehow arrive at conclusions about her judgment, ambition, competence, and future. I find that rather lazy. A difficult chapter can tell you something about what a woman is dealing with. It tells you remarkably little about what she knows, what she's capable of, or what she'll do next. I learned that long before I became a business owner. And it's one reason I believe so strongly in helping women recognize the value of the experience they already have. If you've ever thought, 'I have nothing to sell,' The Breathing Room Method starts by helping you identify the problems you're equipped to solve and explore whether people would pay for a solution. From there, you'll learn how to build and market your first digital product, with 90 days of group coaching included. It's available now for $47.
