Heritage // A moment in print—Tatler’s latest edition has arrived, and within its pages, a glimpse into the romance and refinement of Castle Leslie, captured through my lens.

Photographing Sara and Thomas against the storied backdrop of Ireland’s countryside was nothing short of cinematic—a testament to timeless love framed by history’s embrace. From the grandeur of the castle walls to the intimate, stolen glances, every detail of this editorial was an ode to artistry and emotion.

Seeing this work in Tatler is a beautiful reminder of why I cherish wedding photography—capturing love stories with an editorial touch, where elegance meets emotion. Having the opportunity to publish this advert has been an incredible milestone, and I’m honored to share my work in such a timeless space. If you’re planning your wedding and envisioning imagery that feels both iconic and deeply personal, I’d love to bring your vision to life.

A San Francisco City Hall Elopement // She walked to him in Galia Lahav. He was in Armani. There were nine people in the room. I have never felt more like a fashion photographer.

Chanel and Marcus chose San Francisco City Hall for the same reason I think most couples who end up there do. They are not people who needed a production to feel the weight of the moment. They needed the right space, the right light, and the people they actually love standing nearby.

If you are planning an intimate San Francisco wedding and you have quietly dismissed City Hall as the practical option rather than the beautiful one, I want you to look at this carousel and think again. That building does something to people. It makes a small ceremony feel historic. It turns a dress into a painting. It gives a veil a reason to move.

These are the mornings I photograph fifteen years into a career and still leave slightly undone.

Behind the lens // A Palace of Fine Arts wedding, the way I saw it.

There’s a different kind of magic in seeing a wedding day unfold up close: Payten on the Fairmont balcony, reading Nick’s letter in the morning light. A quiet first look with her dad and brother. Nick turning around in the Fairmont garden and pulling her in close.

Then a cable car full of their favorite people rolled through San Francisco, and we followed the city all the way to the Palace of Fine Arts. Nick waited beneath the colonnade with his groomsmen while their loved ones filled every seat along the aisle. It was a timeless San Francisco wedding, from Nob Hill to the Rotunda.

Save this if you’re planning a Palace of Fine Arts wedding: schedule your portraits before guests arrive. It’s a public park, and those early quiet moments are where the magic lives.

San Francisco 🤍🇺🇸

One of those photographs I keep coming back to.

Our bridal jewellery, photographed outside San Francisco City Hall as part of this beautiful editorial. Soft light, a little romance, and that just-married feeling ✨

The best bridal portraits do more than capture the dress. By pulling inspiration from the venue’s architecture, organic florals, layered design details, and surrounding atmosphere, every corner can become a fine art moment that feels completely connected to the wedding. #StyleMePretty #BridalPhotography #WeddingDesign #BridalPortraitInspiration #FineArtWedding #EditorialBridalStyle

Published // Alex and Dave’s wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch is live on Style Me Pretty today, and I have been waiting to share this one.

This wedding was personal in ways that go far beyond the design. Alex’s late father was raised in Spain. Dave proposed in front of a vineyard in northern Spain in a moment meant to honor that connection. And so when they chose the Villa at Hummingbird Nest Ranch, a property that feels like it belongs somewhere in the south of France or the Spanish countryside, the decision was not just aesthetic. It was deeply, quietly meaningful.

That is the kind of detail that changes how I approach a day. When I understand why a couple chose what they chose, every image I make carries more intention.

What I want couples currently in the planning process to take away from this feature is something I believe in completely. The most beautiful weddings are not the ones with the largest budgets or the most elaborate florals. They are the ones where the details tell a true story. The memorial charm on Alex’s bouquet for her father. The chairs draped in memory of Dave’s parents. The dog-shaped drink stirrers at cocktail hour because their pets were part of their life and therefore part of their day.

That is what Style Me Pretty recognized in this wedding. Not just the beauty, but the meaning behind it.

Resonance // The moment the music begins, everything else disappears.

I have photographed hundreds of wedding moments, and I will tell you something that surprises couples every time I say it. Live music changes how I photograph a ceremony. Not just the atmosphere, but the actual images.

When there is a string quartet, a solo violinist, a standing bass player in a tuxedo drawing a bow across aged wood, guests stop looking at their phones. They close their eyes. They lean into the person beside them. The room breathes differently, and that breathing shows up in every frame I capture.

If you are still deciding between a playlist and live musicians for your ceremony, save this post. The investment is not just in sound. It is in every photograph taken while that music is playing.

Live music gives me something no playlist ever can. It gives me a room full of people who are completely, quietly present.

That is what I am always chasing.

Invited // Some evenings remind me exactly why I love this industry.

I was invited to the grand opening of the BERTA flagship here in Los Angeles, and walking through those arched doors felt like stepping into the future of bridal design. Every gown on that runway was a masterclass in craftsmanship, the kind of detail that photographs differently than it looks in person because the artistry was built for exactly that.

This is why I make it a priority to attend events like this one. Not for the glamour, although there is plenty of that, but because staying close to where bridal fashion is heading makes me a better photographer for my couples. I learn how light moves across hand beaded lace. I see how a dramatic back detail should be framed. I understand what makes a silhouette worth chasing down the aisle with my lens.

If you are currently dress shopping, here is something worth knowing. The gown you choose will shape every photograph from your day, the way it moves, the way it catches light, the way it makes you feel when you turn around. Designers like BERTA understand that a wedding dress is not simply fabric. It is the most photographed garment you will ever wear.

Save this if bridal fashion inspires your planning process, and follow along as I continue covering the runway shows and designer events shaping the industry.

Stillness // Before a single guest sits down, this is the moment that takes my breath away every time.

There is something almost sacred about a reception space in its final minutes of quiet. The flowers placed. The candles lit. The chairs set just so beneath a hundred year old olive tree that has watched countless celebrations unfold in its shade.

This is the part of the day couples rarely see. You are getting ready, surrounded by the people you love most, while somewhere nearby your reception is being built from nothing into something extraordinary.
If you are currently deep in the design phase of your wedding, here is what I want you to know. The details matter, but restraint matters more. Tiffany and Rajbir chose simplicity here, ivory linens, bud vases with single white roses, candlelight, and let the architecture and that breathtaking tree do the rest. The result is timeless in a way that trend driven decor rarely achieves.

Save this if you are dreaming up your own tablescape. A few well chosen elements, given room to breathe, will always outshine a table trying to do too much.

Monserrate Winery in the late golden hour light is one of my favorite places to photograph, and this reception proves exactly why.
