I had to post this in my feed so I can come back and look at this video and remind myself of all my hopes and dreams of me in my 20’s pursuing my dance career in LA.
Thank you brianfriedman for posting these videos and bringing me back to such an amazing time in my life. I still remember this day. I would have loved to book this job. The life of a dancer is not an easy one, but the exhilaration of moving my body like this and doing what I love everyday has been so worth it! Leaving our hearts in LA never gets easier. We got to visit Mia briefly at USC where she was doing all the incoming dancer intake appointments where they measure their strength, turn out , weaknesses etc. to help develop PT plans to keep them dancing strong and healthy. She’s entering her 2nd year of DPT grad school at USC. We got Kira moved into her house where she will be living with 4 other friends for her junior year at LMU. Got her a Costco card and did a picture mimicking Tedd’s Costco card picture he took 18 years ago with 3 year old Kira 😂 And just said goodbye at the airport 😭 Have a great year @mia.taskey and @kira.taskey we love you so much and are so proud of you! ❤️ by @tiffanytaskey

This summer we were so lucky have have both girls home. Mia left to go back yesterday and Kira will leave this Friday. I don’t know where the summer went… I blinked and it’s coming to an end. As much as I miss my girls being little, seeing them thriving as adults is the ultimate “reward”.
They are so smart, kind, driven, funny and all around great humans! I’m not ready for my house to be so quiet again, but my heart is full! I love you so much @mia.taskey and @kira.taskey - I’m beyond proud of you! 😘 by @tiffanytaskey

The girls and I have had a tradition of going to the Melting Pot each year before school starts. It’s one of my favorite nights of the year. Laughing, sharing stories, and talking about where they are and where they want to go in life. I feel so lucky and blessed to be their mom! It makes my heart so happy to watch Mia and Kira dance together. Even though they are both on a career journey to being Physical Therapists I know that dance will always be part of their lives.
