I was asked to write an article about my faith and how my beauty on the outside also comes from within. Where do I even begin? Everything I am comes from my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. He made me in His own image. If God is for me then who can be against me? My worth is determined by me, but most importantly God alone, not man. John 3:16 is absolutely true. God loves everyone deeply. There’s not one soul in the world that can escape His love.

Life is hard so you have to make sure you have the right people surrounding you who encourage you to be the best you can be as well as reminding you of God’s love continually. There’s always beauty in everything God does, everything God is, etc. Blooming where you are planted means to grow and flourish despite the circumstances, and that does not mean to survive, it means to thrive and to blossom.

My parents raised me to love everyone and treat people the way I want to be treated so I’ve always lived my life by that rule. I can’t thank them enough for instilling those values in me and showing me throughout my life what truly is the most important thing. It’s not what you have, but your love for God and how you live your life based on His word. That ultimately shows the real beauty of life…the beauty that comes from within.
