Q3 best reads!!! I’ve barely sat still for the last three months and it really shows in my audiobook consumption 🎧 feeling mainly spooky vibes for the end of the year but let’s seeee 🤓

💚 Victorian Psycho by Virginia Feito. The perfect victorian governess is actually a deranged nutcase.

✉️The Correspondent by Virginia Evans. A story written entirely from one woman’s correspondence.

🫒Look What You Made Me Do by John Lanchester. Woman is aghast to learn the story of her marriage has been made into the most talked about tv show of the year.

✨The Make-Believe by Hannah Murray. A memoir of magic and madness by Hannah from Skins (or Gilly from GoT, depending on your inclination)

🐝The Wasp Trap by Mark Edwards. Six uni friends reunite for a locked door thriller.

🏙️Thirteen Storeys by Jonathan Sims. Mysterious rich dude invites thirteen strangers to his gaff for a night of weirdness.

📚A Short Stay In Hell by Steven L Peck. A short story and an existential crisis about the afterlife.

🐺Grimm Fairytales by Brothers Grimm. Oldie but goldie.

🏺Philoctetes (Sophocles), The Frogs (Aristophanes) & The Libation Bearers (Aeschylus) for my CLASSIC YAP Substacks.

🍇This Divine Revelery by Bea Fitzgerald. Retelling the myth of Ariadne & co.

🌊Andromeda by E S McLeod. Retelling the story of Andromeda and the monster Ceto.

🏛️Ithaca by Claire North. Penelope’s story while Odysseus was off galivanting.

🪞Something In The Walls by Daisy Pearce. A child psychologist comes to treat an apparently haunted family. by @tiffinlizzy
