One year ago today marks the worst day of my life. One year without my baby sister here. A day that came in spite of my fear of it. Every day I crawl farther away from you and closer to you at the same time. I have claw marks across my whole entire life trying to reach you. I have faced so much grief without you, the grief of losing you, the grief of losing myself, and grief of many losses I didn’t know could exist. She is my babiest sister and I miss her so dearly. Cindy was the best, she was so funny.. truly so radiant. She was my biggest supporter! Cindy would give so much to make you smile.. She loved her baby more than anything and was such of a good mama.. She was empathetic, so fun to be around and just all in all an amazing girl. I will continue to keep trying to be the things I loved the most about her. She inspires me all of the time.. I carry her with me every single moment of every day. I am so proud to be her big sister.. I have learned so much from her. She should be here today, it isn’t fair that she’s not. I shouldn’t be adding flowers to a shelf. I will keep fighting to get up every day and make her proud and go on when she didn’t get to. She is my home that I’m missing. I hope she knows how hard I fight for her and how much I love her. I love my baby sister, until we meet again. by @tiffsamps

My mommy 💔 narrowing down to 20 pictures should be illegal. I just lost my mom. I appreciate everyone who has and still may reach out to me and I am sorry I’m not responsive but I see your support and need it and thank you for it.. I miss my mom so deeply. I know she is up there giving my baby sister the biggest love possible. 🪽I wanted to post my speech here but it’s too long 💔 there’s not enough I can possibly type here to express the woman my mom is.. my mom has had such of a huge impact on my life and I have so much to thank her for. I wish I still could.. she is so, so loved and I will spend the rest of my life grieving her and yearning for her. I love my mom. I miss my mom. I need my mom. I thought I still had time to ask her questions and learn things from her like her many crafts and skills.. This woman is fearless and an absolute bad ass. From fishing to cooking, animal training and riding horses at 60+ years old.. she was so brave, tough and a Wonder Woman of all trades. She was supportive and always showed up and proudly represented who she was there for.. I have many qualities I learned from her and I’m proud to honor her in my choices as I hear her voice in my head reminding me who I am and who my mother was.. I can call upon her when I need strength, remember her when somebody needs a helping hand, thank her for showing me how to protect my family and those around me and think of her when I need to know someone is proud of me. She is stronger than anyone I know, although I wish she didn’t have to be. I owe her thanks for a lot of who I am today. Time has been my enemy this year. This wasn’t enough time with her, she deserved so much more in life. When I’m already consumed by grief, I lose my mommy too. I know she is free of pain now and I’m trying to remind myself who she is reunited in heaven with. 🥺 thank you for everything.. I love you more, mom. -love, princess. by @tiffsamps

Today is 6 months without my baby sis. It hurts like I just found out.. 6 months in a world without her is impossible to even comprehend. My sister is missed beyond measure. Grief has changed my life, losing my sister has taken so much from us.. I’m grateful I got to love her so much that I hurt as much as I do to lose her.. but I wish it didn’t turn out this way, she should be here. I will never stop loving her and missing her. I love my baby sis. 🤍
