About 10x a day I think how amazing it is that God somehow loves this child even more than we do. AND THAT’S ALOT!! It has truly been the gift of a lifetime to get to experience a similar undying love for Auggie that God had for His son. Between our birth story to these first few weeks together, my faith and trust in the Lord has never been so strong. Thank you Jesus for blessing us with this precious boy! 🙌🏼🥹 by @tiffweedon

11 months with our little bunny! 🐰🩵 His new favorite trick is shaking his head “no” at every single question he’s asked and he’s had 4 teeth cutting this month which means our nights have been longggg. 🦷😴 Our little adventure buddy had his longest road trip yet (10 hours each way) and didn’t cry a single tear. 🚗👏🏼 It feels like we just brought August home from the hospital and now we are somehow already prepping for his first birthday. Time is a thief! by @tiffweedon

10 months with our shenanigans squad!! 🍀 This month Auggie saw the Patriots play in the Super Bowl (kind of), attended his first spring training game (go Angels), and tried cake for the first time at his great-great grandmothers 101st birthday (yum!). We childproofed our entire home putting cabinet locks and baby gates everywhere and lowered his crib mattress all the way down, realizing just how much he has grown! 🥲 He loves to walk behind his little push cart and continues to try all new foods. This month’s favorite menu item was buffalo chicken! 🔥❤️ by @tiffweedon

Happy 9 months to our lover boy… just about a month behind in posting! 🫣 He is extremely mobile with a vicious army crawl and pulls himself to a standing position using any object he can find. He’s very mischievous and if we turn our back on him for one second he will end up with his hands in Zona’s water bowl. We knew boys were wild but we were unaware that we would already be saving his life multiple times a day, like when he got his first little black eye after losing the battle to the corner of one of his little wooden toys but he was so tough!! 💪🏻 Auggie also experienced his first major winter storm. Our favorite highlight though was his child dedication at church surrounded by so many friends that love and will support him in his walk with Jesus. Luckily for you, you won’t have to wait long for March’s post… 😂 by @tiffweedon

This morning, in community, we dedicated August Rhodes Weedon to the Lord. Chris and I have been entrusted to care for Auggie during our time on earth but we know that he has and always will be a child of God.

The life verse we have selected for August is Joshua 1:9. “Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Thank you Jesus for your constant presence in our lives so that we are never alone! We are praying this scripture over Auggie’s life and that today will be the first step to him becoming a man of strong faith. 🙏🏼🩵 by @tiffweedon

EIGHT MONTHS with Auggie! On a trip to California he got a front row seat to see his Aunt Teresa and Uncle Geoff tie the knot. He then went to Disneyland and got his first pair of Mickey Mouse ears and a bite of Dole Whip! 🐭🍍We spent Christmas at home in Tennessee and began some really precious family traditions. Our church also asked us to be Joseph, Mary, and Baby Jesus in their ‘Journey to Bethleham’ event and we loved getting to show Auggie the true reason for the season. No matter how many times I try and coax him to say “mama” it’s always “dada, dada, dada”… We will try again next month!! 🙃 by @tiffweedon
