While skiing in Chile this summer, jumped over to Easter Island 🗿and wow, truly and beautiful and magical island.
1. The Moai, the rest of their body is underground making them 13’-20’ tall

7. The Crater, three volcanos made up Easter Island. Today this crater grows fruits and nuts for the locals to consume

10 years ago today one of the greatest influences in my life, my grandmother Posy Chisholm Feick, flew her hot air balloon and landed in heaven, as the most beautiful Guardian Angel. For those of you who knew her, you can empathize when I say she combined eloquence and courage.
Her positive energy was infectious to be around.
Her boldness inspired us all. Posy was the first female to get her hot air balloon license in Turkey. She was awarded for her encouragement to the arts in Italy for her work with Peggy Guggenheim and made a Dame of the First Class of the Sovereign, the Order of Malta, she was inducted into Toronto Life’s best-dressed hall of fame, and as noted by Toronto Life “she shaped her life in ways that were radical for the period. She was a trail-blazing pre-feminist.” Her generosity made us realize that life is about giving. About creating experiences with and for others. In 2006, she threw a 500+ person holiday party at the Palais Royale; with dancers, masks, DJs, lights, you name it. It was a masterpiece.
To Posy this was what life was all about - doing the extraordinary for people to bring joy. When living in New York she had an MRI and said to the technician “there needs to be music in here.” Within a week she had organized for the MRI machine to have music playing within the machine.
So, let’s raise a glass of champagne (Veuve Clicquot, of course, Posy's favorite) to being bolder, being generous and living a big life!! xo by @tiffwillson
