Glaswegians! I need a Glasgow hotel for Saturday night only which is of the Rab Ha’s/Babbity Bowsters/Brunswick Hotel vibe. (All full.)

Am I missing anywhere else?🤔 A boutique guest house in city centre/west end would also work, the sort of thing that doesn’t necessarily come up in hotel internet searches. by @tiger_orgasm

Put down those Rizlas and help a girl out, won’tcha? I’m on the hunt for suggestions of UK-based, well-kent faces called Tom. The home-grown sort who might realistically do a paid charity appearance - messers. Conti, Courtenay, Baker for instance. A chocolate watch if they also like cats. Think Tom Hollander more than Tom Holland (or Cruise, Hanks, Jones, Hardy, Hiddleston … and Selleck.)

Sports-folk, entrepreneurs, musicians, authors? Tommy and Thomasissiz also cool. I’d ask the best Tom who is of course Tom Bosley but he is deid (LAZY Americans.) by @tiger_orgasm

I’ve written a bittersweet piece with accompanying sculpture in celebration of horses and how integral they once were to Glasgow for this forthcoming Commonwealth show 🐎🐎 Trot on!

⭐️⭐️Opening night next Sunday 26th July 6pm @newglasgowsociety in Finnieston (near to Tantrum Donuts and Dukes Bar, where the real fun happens)⭐️⭐️

Yes, that flyer is breaking my eyes also.

‘I Wish I Was in Glasgow’ is a call to celebrate the city we love! In the wake of the Union Street fire, and as the Commonwealth Games bring thousands of visitors to Glasgow in July, 10 contributors reflect on what makes our city so distinct, beloved and alive.

Curated by NGS, ‘I Wish I Was in Glasgow’ is an exhibition expressing affection for the cultural & collective memory of Glasgow. Imagined by Glaswegians, the works weave stories of cultural and collective memory, heritage, architecture, sense of place, belonging, and the everyday life.

Exhibitions runs Mon. 27th Aug. to Tuesday 4th August, 12-5pm @ New Glasgow Society, Finnieston.
