'Deja Vu'

The film centers on a man who's living in denial. What this is he doesn't know, he only knows that there's a change coming. A change he is not willing to accept plainly. What unfolds is a fever dream in which he has to come to terms with his destiny and the consequences it holds for him. With this film I wanted to capture the feeling of existential dread and the absurd nature of the human experience. It’s a fragmented story where feeling is more important than a linear story. Through my work I hope to elicit a feeling within the viewer and leave them questioning. I create a scope to which the viewer can form its own conclusions and understand what my intentions were. In this way the film becomes a dialogue between viewer and artist.
