Happy Independence Day to Me! 🥂 On this day, last year, I faced darkness for 2 months straight after my breakup. Like it really hit me hard. No one knew because I handled it with grace. (S/O to my Mommy and GMA, the constant checkups saved me 🫶🏾) Gave myself 60 days, to let it all out before I go in grind mode. And it went just like that, I love my job, love what I do! I love my Peace. And been enjoying my life, and everyone in it! I’ve had a better appreciation and approach to life itself, it sometimes seem surreal! Like I’ve really grown from this situation and I think that’s why I’ve been so happy! It took a lot of growth and a HUGE level of maturity to understand…. my failed engagement was 100% God’s protection. Like, he loves me THAT much, he saved me. 🙏🏾 I’ve become a much wiser & better woman overall. This whole year I’ve felt guilty when people would say “You seem so much happier now” but this time, its just different 🥹❤️ Doing what’s best for Tika, and taking care of me was the best decision I’ve ever made! Always choose Happiness over History🫶🏾 by @tika_lashe
