My first international keynote. 🇩🇪✨

I’ve been sitting with those words for a minute.

This October, I’ll be travelling to Germany to speak at the Service Design Global (@servicedesignnetwork) Conference 2026, bringing The Cost of Silence: How Systems Produce Silence—and What It Costs to an international stage.

What began for me as a deeply personal inquiry into silence, voice, power and belonging has continued to grow into a much larger conversation about the systems we build—and the human beings who have to live inside them.

To now be invited to bring that conversation into a global design space as a lead keynote speaker feels incredibly meaningful.

I’ll be speaking about what happens when silence isn’t simply an individual choice, but something produced by the environments, institutions and systems around us—and what becomes possible when we begin designing conditions where people can actually speak, participate and belong.

This one feels special.

From Canada to Germany. My first international keynote. 🥹🇨🇦✈️🇩🇪

I’m deeply grateful to the Service Design Network for the invitation, for seeing the value of my voice and incredibly excited for what’s ahead.

Wiesbaden, I’ll see you in October. 💗

Been quietly building. 🥹✨

Really proud to have completed the Map the System Learning Programme, developed by the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Oxford.

This year has been about expanding….not just what I create, but how I think about leadership, systems, community and possibility.

I’m proud that I’m still curious enough to keep becoming a student. 💗

More to come. ✨ by @tikathefrequency

For a long time, I didn’t have the language to talk about this.

Next Friday, for the first time publicly, I’ll be sharing part of my own journey with disability.

For years, I thought my story was about surviving a spinal injury. What I didn’t realize was that I was also learning how to navigate the emotional, social, and cultural realities of disability—and unlearning the belief that disability somehow makes us less valuable, less capable, or less deserving.

The truth is, disability has shaped the way I create, the way I lead, the way I listen, and the way I move through the world. It’s not a footnote to my life. It’s part of my story.

This conversation isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about making space for honesty, curiosity, and care.

I’m so grateful to be having this conversation with @_the_ny and @wmrccdurham, whose work and perspective continue to challenge and expand my own understanding.

If you’ve ever wrestled with identity, healing, belonging, or what it means to be seen beyond your limitations, I hope you’ll join us.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be speaking at Adaptation Canada 2026 in Toronto this fall.

For many years, conversations about climate adaptation have focused on infrastructure, policy, and technology. While these are essential, I’m increasingly interested in another question:

How do we adapt as human beings?

How do we navigate uncertainty, grief, burnout, displacement, change, and collective transformation while remaining connected to one another?

My work explores emotional literacy, creative sovereignty, rest, and community care as critical tools for navigating complex futures. I’m looking forward to joining practitioners, researchers, artists, policymakers, and leaders from across the country as we imagine what adaptation can look like when we place humanity at the center of the conversation.

Thank you to the Adaptation Canada team for the invitation.

I hope to see some familiar faces there. cc: @iclei_canada

“Be Free” 🕊️

Writing this song for The Tweetations Revue was such a special experience. Huge love to @fraseronfilm for the vision and for trusting me with this moment.

I co-wrote this with my dear collaborator Chad Cournoyer of @sorellesoundco, who also produced the track—always magic when we create together. ✨✨✨

Feeling really grateful to be part of a project that celebrates imagination, storytelling, and joy in such a beautiful way.

Big love to the entire Tweetations cast & creative team—this world is something truly special. ✨🦋🌸🌞✨ by @tikathefrequency

Went down memory lane today and it brought me great happiness to reconnect with these beautiful memories at home.

Today feels like a good day to pour love back into myself. 💌

I was looking through old photos and realized how many beautiful conversations I’ve been lucky to have with people who are shaping culture, pushing boundaries, and expanding what feels possible.

And honestly… the biggest realization? The people we admire are not separate from us. They are reflections of what is already inside of us. The same curiosity, the same courage, the same creative spark.

On this Valentine’s Day, I’m celebrating growth, reflection, and the reminder that the love we seek in the world has to start with the relationship we build with ourselves.

Grateful for every conversation, every connection, and every mirror that helped me see myself more clearly. 💖

Last year, I had the privilege of taking The Trauma of Money program, created by my incredible friend, the incomparable Chantel Chapman. CEO, educator, and now author of a groundbreaking book that carries the same name.

It’s hard to overstate how transformative this work has been for me. The program offered me not only tools, but language and compassion for understanding the ways systemic inequities, generational wounds, and internalized beliefs about scarcity live inside of us...especially for Black people and people of colour.

So many of us are taught to survive, but rarely shown how to build a safe, loving, and healed relationship with money. For me as a musician + Academy Award Winning film and television composer, this learning has been life-shifting. Creativity and money often feel like oil and water, but through The Trauma of Money, I began to understand that healing my relationship with surrender was also healing my relationship with money. When you feel grounded enough to surrender, you create the conditions for expansion. That truth has opened new doors for me, artistically and financially, and I know it will continue to ripple outwards.

@chantelchapman, I am immensely proud of you and your work. The courage it takes to put this out into the world is matched only by the generosity with which you share it. Thank you for reminding us that our relationship with money can be rooted in love, care, and liberation.

If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend reading The Trauma of Money. It’s not just a book. It’s a pathway to healing, for individuals and for communities. Bless you. 🌱💫 by @tikathefrequency

Baby, you got me thinking bout yo lovin going crazy and I really should be honest.
Baby, I love the way you grab my hips and then you kiss my fingertips, I can’t believe you think I’m flawless.
Baby. I am the goddess. I’m the artist. I’m the hottest. I’m so modest and I promise. This much is true. This much I feel for you.

Words can’t convey what it felt like to finally complete something like school but graduating from the @cfccreates was undoubtedly one of my proudest accomplishments. What emerged from the program is a skilled composer and multi-hyphenate ready to score all her upcoming film works and to expand further past the dreams even my own ancestors had for me. I’m so grateful to my peers and the CFC for their belief in me and my vision. Clearly the best is yet to come. Ready for this next chapter ✨👑 by @tikathefrequency
