The Wharf’s tropical escape overlooking the Potomac is dead set on making sure all of its customers have fun. Bartenders, armed with bubble guns, pump out over-the-top tiki drinks spiked with its Thrasher’s rum and surf-themed swizzler sticks. In between distillery tours and/or hanging out on the thatched rooftop bar year-round, it’s always fun to share a pupu platter here alongside tuna poke, crystal shrimp dumplings, and spam musubi. - Eater DC

Meet Alston! 🌴 Part of the Tiki TNT crew and an occasional helping hand over at Thrasher’s Rum.

His order? A Poké bowl and HAVE A NICE DAY, one of his favorites from our new menu. This Tiki TNT original brings together Tequila Blanco, Thrasher’s Green Spiced Rum, Li Hing Syrup*, lemon, and lime. A friendly suggestion with a spirited delivery.

With roots in the 1960s tiki scene at New York’s Hawaii Kai, the Head Hunter brings a little old-school mystery to the bar.

Long before Head Hunter was a cocktail, headhunting traditions among peoples in the Amazon and Borneo were tied to warfare, spiritual power, and protection—histories later sensationalized by collectors and adventure stories. The drink brings its own intrigue, with roots in the 1960s tiki scene at New York’s Hawaii Kai. Our version blends Thrasher’s Gold and Demerara rum with lush papaya, apricot liqueur, orange juice, tart lime, and honey syrup, while 151 rum adds a formidable kick. Tropical, rich, and bright—with a name that gives fair warning.
