you ever just knit a big ass blanket with two broomsticks?

Not sure if this is how people usually make these things but it’s what I figured out 🤣 & is my fav thing to do while watching a show. I’m so excited to use it when it’s done, she’s so softttt. You too could do this, basic knitting is pretty easy. Let me know if you want me to make a video on how to get started 🧶🤍

If I could sit down with my younger self, I’d tell her~

🌸 Don’t shrink yourself to make other people comfortable. The right people won’t require you to be less of who you are

🌸 Stop taking advice from people living lives you wouldn’t want for yourself

🌸 Learn to say no without feeling guilty. You don’t have to explain yourself every time you choose yourself

🌸 Never lie. It’s a disservice to you and everyone else. People may not like it, but they’ll respect it regardless. And it weeds out who’s not for you

🌸 Take the long way home. Chase the sunset. Stay out a little later. Say yes to the things that make life feel big and memorable

🌸 But please don’t rush to become the person you think you’re supposed to be. You have so much time to grow, change, start over, fall in love, get lost, find yourself, and become someone new

🌸 You don’t need to have it all figured out

~ Just don’t forget to enjoy the life you’re living while you’re becoming who you’re meant to be 🤍

A little reminder that there is no rulebook for life. Time stops for no man so might as well do what makes you happy 🤍

You don’t have to follow the timeline you were handed. You don’t have to accomplish certain things by a certain age, or live your life in the order you were told you should.

You can change your mind. Take the long way. Start over. Travel. Stay home. Fall in love. Be single. Have kids. Don’t have kids. Buy the house. Get the tattoos. Take the trip. I personally will probably live on a sailboat with my kids & cat one day instead of living inside a traditional house, but that’s just me ⛵️🌊✨

There is no right way to do it.

I think sometimes we get so caught up in where we’re ~supposed~ to be that we forget to ask ourselves where we actually want to go

You’re not behind. You’re not ahead.

I’ve always felt like life was better not going by the books. Live on your own timeline 🤍

This top level is inside of a giant three headed copper elephant at the Erawan Museum, it’s called the Heaven or universe layer

The underworld (ground floor): they have rare Chinese porcelain, ancient vases, and historical artifacts

human world (middle floor): gorgeous stained glass ceilings, and four large pillars representing major world religions.

Heaven (top floor): houses ancient Buddha statues and features a ceiling painted with a map of the solar system

This is the pavilion of the enlightened at the ancient city which is the worlds largest outdoor museum

Paying my respects to Ganesha shrine. Lord Ganesha, the elephant headed Hindu deity in Thai culture as the remover of obstacles and the god of success, fortune, and wisdom. People visit this station to offer incense sticks, fresh marigold garlands, and prayers 🐘🤍✨

Saw these people doing Tree Qigong circle walking to the sunrise in the city of Bangkok. It’s a Taoist practice used as moving meditation, “standing like a tree” postures, and circular footwork rooted in the internal martial art Baguazhang. They use a tree as a central focal point, moving around it to build internal energy, balance, and calm focus.

A practice you can do right now is a rooting visualization. Basically you imagine your legs and feet growing deep roots into the earth while the crown of your head reaches upward to the sky 🧘🏼‍♀️🌲

The famous giant reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. It’s gold plated brick and plaster - 150 feet long and 50 feet high making it one of the largest statues in Thailand. This posture captures the Buddha in his final earthly moments arriving at complete spiritual enlightenment through death. His feet are intricately decorated with mother of pearl and has 108 symbols representing Buddhist cosmology

Still my favorite photoshoot to date 🌿✨

There have been seasons where I couldn't see what was ahead, where growth felt invisible, and where I questioned if all the little choices I was making were leading anywhere

Looking back now, I realize they were
Sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel isn't something you suddenly find.. it's something you've been slowly walking toward all along

If you're in a season that feels dark, keep going. Keep choosing yourself. Keep showing up in the small ways. One day you'll look back and realize you were becoming someone stronger, wiser, and more at peace than you ever imagined

A moment for my fur baby 🐈🤍✨
I used to take her hiking a lot before I let her go outside freely. Now she’s living her best kitty life. She’s outgrown her harness but maybe we’ll start going again if I get a one. Would love to gift my old harness to anyone with a new kitten 🐾
