Happy Birthday to my Birthday Twin, Jessica!!! 🎉♍️❤️

Twin, I understand what it takes to live OUT LOUD, stand proud, hold everybody down and somehow always be “the strong one.” But today, I want you to remember that you don’t always have to be ON. Take some time to enjoy the quiet moments, sit still, breathe, and be completely at peace with YOU. You deserve that too.

Laugh EXTRA hard today. Wipe the tears that may fall, because birthdays have a funny way of making us emotional and grateful at the same damn time. 😂 And PLEASE stay hydrated! At OUR big age, we can’t just bounce back like we used to. One good night of celebrating now requires water, electrolytes, vitamins, a heating pad and possibly two business days for recovery. 😂😂😂

Here’s to another year of being strong, fabulous, loud, loving, a little crazy and unapologetically YOU! We’ve earned every laugh line, every lesson and every “I’m too old for this shit” moment! 😂

I love you, Twin! Happy Birthday to USSSSS!!! ♍️🎂🥂❤️ Now go enjoy yourself…but responsibly, because these knees and this recovery time ain’t what they used to be! 😂😂😂

Today, I’m simply GRATEFUL. 🙏🏾❤️ Grateful to see another year, grateful for every lesson, every blessing, every closed door, every open door, every tear, every laugh and every person who has genuinely loved me along the way.

The VIRGO energy is officially busting at the seams! ♍️✨🎉

One thing life continues to teach me is that when you are good to people, move with a genuine heart and put good energy into this world, somehow it finds its way back to you TENFOLD. I may not have always gotten it right, but my heart has always been in the right place—and for that, I’m proud.

Getting older also teaches you to appreciate the gift of LIFE differently. Everybody didn’t make it to see another birthday. Some people I love dearly aren’t physically here to celebrate with me, so I don’t take one single day, one laugh, one hug or one birthday for granted. ❤️

And like Jam once said, everybody isn’t invited to have a seat in the theater of your life. Some folks are only meant to be in a few scenes, some get written out of the script, and some never deserved a ticket in the first place!

So… leave them hoes outside in the parking lot! 😂😂😂 Okay, I added that last part, but YOU GET IT!

This chapter is about gratitude, peace, love, laughter, protecting my energy and enjoying the people who genuinely enjoy ME.

Cheers to another trip around the sun, another year wiser, another year stronger, another year blessed and another year of being unapologetically ME. 🥂✨

Happy Birthday, young man! 🎉❤️ Through all these years, all the twists and turns, disappointments, heartaches, lessons and everything else life has thrown our way, one thing I’m grateful for is that our friendship has never wavered.
We can’t go back and change the should haves, could haves or what ifs—and maybe we’re not supposed to. We can only appreciate the journey, the memories, the lessons and the fact that after all these years, we’re still here.
