Finish line in sight! Waiting on a few more bullnose pieces for the left side of the master shower and then the stone shaving ledge, really pleased with how this all came together 🙌🏽

-Side note, there was nothing that could be done to avoid the small sliver in the dog bath.. the cabinets came in almost 2” wider than expected and the homeowner didn’t want to lose anymore space in the bath.. it is properly wrapped and actually matches the final cut alone the front edge so at least there’s some consistency 👌🏽 by @tile_artisan_llc

Making smooth and steady progress over here at The Pink House, simple yet timeless (and technically period correct) patterns for this beautiful shower… check the last slide for the light show #TileArtisan #TileMechanic #ModernCraftsman #KeepCraftAlive #Tile #Shower #Charleston #SouthCarolina by @tile_artisan_llc

• Really cool backsplash from late last year • Had the absolute pleasure (and challenge) of installing this beautiful hand cut glass tile from @allisonedenstudios, I needed to make sure I got the substrate as flat as humanly possible to ensure there was no lippage because those edges were unforgiving but @builtwithfoam’s shims made that a breeze. Terminated with a glass half round from @artistic_tile and grouted with @laticrete Spectralock1 we created the bullet proof, easy to clean installation the customer was looking for👌🏽 #TileArtisan #ModernCraftsman #KeepCraftAlive #Kitchen #Backsplash #Handmade #GlassTile #Charleston #SouthCarolina by @tile_artisan_llc

Gaining momentum on this super cool home, this will have black painted hardwood floors running right up to their curbless heated master shower.. @restorationtile basket weave on the floor with a tileable @flofx.usa drain grate and a period correct baseboard tile with a fun alternating square/rectangle wall pattern.. really trying to keep the historical element of the home while adding modern technologies and amenities, stay tuned! •Been MIA for a while on here, going to try and make a point to post a lot more often, so as I go through and sort my photos I’ll be posting a bunch of work from the past year as well as more “in progress” work…• by @tile_artisan_llc

Bathrooms starting to take shape! Loving the cooler colors of the tile blending with the warmer tones in the exposed beams and brick. #TileArtisanLLC #TileArtisan #TileMechanic #ModernCraftsman #KeepCraftAlive #Tile #Bathroom #Shower #BathroomRemodel #Historic #Charleston #SouthCarolina by @tile_artisan_llc

Trying my best to marry this new porcelain floor to this 260 year old brick wall ✍🏽 #TileArtisan #TileMechanic #Bathroom #PorcelainTile #Scribing #Historic #Downtown #Charleston #SouthCarolina by @tile_artisan_llc

Sneak peak of my most recent shower project! Sheet tile on all the walls in the bathroom (almost 300square feet) and the shower floor with a tileable linear grate, custom 3/8” rounded and re-polished outside corners on the walls and 3/4” slab material custom cut to 12x24 over heated cable for the bathroom floor… tons of moving parts in this bathroom but everything came together beautifully 🤌🏽 true finished photos coming soon.. #TileArtisan #TileMechanic #Tile #Marble #Shower #SouthOfBroad #Downtown #Charleston #SouthCarolina by @tile_artisan_llc

As we get closer and closer to wrapping up our most recent project I’ll be sharing one bathroom at a time before a big post with lots of behind the scenes photos to show all the fun and interesting challenges we were faced with and the solutions we came up with along the way! #TileArtisan #TileMechanic #ModernCraftsman #KeepCraftAlive #Porcelain #Ceramic #Tile #Bathroom #BathroomRemodel #Shower #Downtown #WagenerTerrace #Charleston #SouthCarolina by @tile_artisan_llc

With only a few hours left in National Tile Day.. I installed my most challenging backsplash to date. 3 piece marble mosaic from @artistic_tile. Dry laid the whole thing out, made a template, set the it on 3/16” @schlutersystemsna Kerdi Board, used my new @montolittilingtools track saw to cut to size and then slapped it up (easier said than done…). Extremely nerve wracking but so worth it! Fit perfectly and couldn’t have gotten it flatter if I wanted to 🤌🏽 #TileArtisan #TileSetter #TileMechanic #ModernCraftsman #KeepCraftAlive #Marble #Mosaic #Backsplash #MarbleBacksplash #MosaicBacksplash #ArtisticTile #NationalTileDay #Downtown #Charleston #SouthCarolina #WagenerTerrace by @tile_artisan_llc

Was gonna try and hold out sharing until it was grouted but just couldn’t… this is probably my favorite tile to date! Love the subtle variations in size due to being handmade and the colors are just unreal… this is with only natural light coming through the window ✨ #TileArtisan #TileSetter #TileMechanic #ModernCraftsman #KeepCraftAlive #Handmade #Tile #HandmadeTile #Shower #Charleston #SouthCarolina by @tile_artisan_llc

Absolutely in love with this dramatic marble tile for the bathtub alcove, can’t wait to continue to show progress shots as we move forward with this project! #Devereaux #TileArtisan #TileSetter #TileMechanic #ModernCraftsman #KeepCraftAlive #LargeFormatTile #Marble #MarbleTile #Arabescato #MasterBathroom #BathroomRemodel #DowntownCharleston #WagnerTerrace #Charleston #SouthCarolina by @tile_artisan_llc

Thinking back to my first ever tileable vent. It’s wild how such a small product can make such a large impact on the aesthetic of a room. #TileArtisan #ModernCraftsman #KeepCraftAlive #Tile #TileMechanic #TileInstaller #Bathroom #PowderRoom #Marble #Mosaic #Charleston #SouthCarolina by @tile_artisan_llc
