Local small biz shout out 😍

An absolutely delicious brunch at @name__tbc this morning that exceeded my expectations ❤️🥯🍳☕️

Managed to get a beautiful sunny spot in the window - this was every bit as good as it looks. Chorizo hash and a vegan pastrami bagel with a hash brown layer 😍

Friendly and swift service, food coming out in excellent time given the huge rush that was there in the middle of our visit (take away bagels v popular)

First visit for food, but won’t be our last ❤️ an excellent new business in our town - we’re very lucky

Thought it was about time for a bit of an adventure 😍

After a lot of research, have snapped up some budget long-haul flights and planning begins now!

Two countries, seven accommodations, loads of fun activities and exploring, cities, beaches, life on the delta, wildlife, national park adventures and more are under way.

And yes - the trip spreadsheet is on the go and she’s a beauty 📊🤓❤️ schedule and costs all being fully organised and recorded so it’s pretty much all planned in advance before we go, allowing maximum enjoyment time while there. Planning the whole thing yourself is absolutely more budget friendly too 💰

Am in my element researching and exploring possibilities ❤️

So let’s see what this trip brings!

A pit stop in Petworth yesterday on the way to an adventure ❤️

A gorgeous little town, will definitely return for a wander 😍 lovely shops and buildings and a delicious carrot cake in @saddlers_petworth - excellent cream cheese topping and very good sponge ❤️

Beautiful Autumnal Sunday morning 💙🌊☀️🍂

I love this weather at the changing of the seasons and we’re truly soaking it up ❤️ I went for a gloriously sunny run along the coast this morning - solar power helped me get to 7km, then back to create a porridge bowl and coffee to eat in the garden while we sit and listen to bird song with an identification app ❤️

Now for some more garden clearing and closing down on this beautiful day - so grateful for it 😍 by @tiley_tours

What exactly is Detroit style pizza I hear you ask

Well - at @jackspizza.uk we got a rectangular pan pizza featuring a thick, airy, focaccia-like crust, a caramelized cheese perimeter known as the ‘frico’ edge, and tomato sauce layered on top of the cheese. So I say they nailed it 🍕😍

Struggling to choose between the choices on an excellent menu that included lots of vegetarian and vegan choices, we opted for 3 slices between 2 of us and it was just right 👌🏻 All 3 slices were seriously deep and doughy, cheesy as heck, absolutely not skimping on the toppings and the frico, caramelised, slightly crispy cheese bits on the edges where slices had been directly against the pizza tins was 😍🧀

The decor was great, lots of pieces of art incorporating pizza and pizza references, and the relaxed bench seating with long tables and some window seats fits the casual feel of the place. Service wasn’t casual - very friendly staff who were definitely busy on a Friday evening when we visited but made time to keep customers happy, a win ❤️

A return visit is definitely on the cards!

On my way home from working on an event this evening at the Archbishop of Canterbury’s residence, Lambeth Palace - a very beautiful venue

Hosting duties went well, but more importantly some excellent grassroots charities were celebrated and the whole evening was centred around their amazing work and future support.

I was pleased to be asked to be part of the panel proposing charities to showcase and even more pleased that a brilliant charity I’ve been working with picked up an award at tonight’s event ⭐️ Had such nice comments from charities I’ve put forward for funding in the past regarding how they felt I went the extra mile for them and how supported they felt in the whole process (yep - I’m tooting my own horn on that one 🎺)

Busy but very rewarding - and my previous events experience has been utilised in the planning & execution of this one ❤️ taken in Lambeth Palace by @tiley_tours

Changing of the seasons… ☀️❤️🍂

This weekend I started to close down the garden, feeling grateful for our outdoor space and what it’s given, and noticing nature slowing down, contemplating the move from one season to another. I settled to make some lists and gentle planning.

I’m clearly a creature of cyclical habit as these photos are from a year ago where I was doing the same ❤️💫

A good opportunity to close a chapter and be inspired to look forward to the next with a cosy set up.

Table faffery / romanticising the every day for the win ❤️

A day and a half of sister sister Tiley Tours - at the coast and in the big city, adventuring as always

❤️🌊🌅🍻🍕🍩🚆✏️🏙️🥯☀️🐾🧁

We had a really lovely time - Brighton for shopping and wandering, golden hour beer at a bar on the beach watching the sunset, a walk along the pier as it was all lit up, an excellent pizza dinner, seaside doughnuts for pudding, a sunny train journey up to London with a nice coffee for the way, The Shard featuring a Mr Doodle installation, bus journey over to Brick Lane seeing the sights along the way, Brick Lane beigel stock up, a wander through East London, beigel lunch sat on a park bench in the sunshine, Inside Aardman exhibition at the Young V&A, a cuppa and a themed cupcake, chats and doing some trip maths on more Tiley Tours plans ❤️
