A little "short film" project putting some assets from Bigmediumsmall together.

@bigmediumsmall_

A cinematic study of isolation, light, and texture in a Tokyo alleyway. "Seven Frames of Grain" consists of seven distinct, completely static camera compositions, capturing only the movements of the environment. Inspired by the stylized neo-noir cinema and the timeless dystopian Night City aesthetic, this project explores the threshold between photography and moving image. The short focuses on high-fidelity hyperrealism, heavy volumetric fog, and the organic texture of analog film grain within a digital space. Created and rendered in Blender 5.1.2 and comped in Uke with additional Color Grading in Resolve.

Some months ago, I started this vehicle study to push my texturing skills and deepen my expertise in #substancepainter Painter and using #udims in #redshift3d . The base car model is the #chaparral 2D from Jim Hall. Since I love the design of old racing cars, I decided to take this shape as a starting point and add details and textures. Will post more in the next days.

The Green Knight - Godzilla

A little CG exercise I had to finish within in 48h as an entrance examination for the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. The task set was, to implement Godzilla into whatever footage. There are some issues but all in all I like it.
My tasks here were Animation (which is pretty bad because of the short amount of time), Lighting, Rendering, Tracking, Rotoscoping, Compositing and some Sounddesign for the Godzilla.
