Hi!! A little birdy told me something really cool is happening this Sunday!

I have teamed up with wonderful @studioastridlillie and we want to help you make your own custom designed scarves!

You will select your designs from a range of different hand-painted illustration s(made by meeee) and can put your free will to the test in curating your very own, unique constellation! If you’re curious, come down to @amora.estudi0 on Sunday, from 13-20h.

We will be there to guide you through the process, surrounded by second hand clothes, art and tattoos! There will also be foood and drinks and live music by @horses.in.heels

All to raise funds for @lisbonprojectassociation

Feira de Domingo - FUNDRAISER

Vol. 3

We return for our Sunday Market Fundraiser on Sunday 18th October at Amora Esutdios. We will be selling art, clothes, food and tattoos + music from Horses in Heals!

We are raising money for @lisbonprojectassociation 🧡

The Lisbon Project supports migrants and refugees as they navigate life in Portugal, helping them find connection, opportunity and a sense of belonging. Through community, education, employability and social care, they create spaces where people feel welcomed, supported and empowered to build a better future for themselves and their families.

This one’s for my dad,

I’ve been wearing his tshirt all week, playing his favourite songs, crying, then laughing, then crying again. I still don’t believe it’s real.

We’re so bad at death, as a society. Nobody teaches you how to look at it. So when it comes for someone you love, you’re on your own with it. I’ve had people around me all week, holding my hand, feeding me, trying to make me laugh, and I’m grateful, I really am. But at night I go back to my room, and it’s just me. Me and the guilt, me and the things I never said, me and “one more day please, just one more day”.

I spent a week trying to find the right words to help me understand the process. Turns out there aren’t any. The only honest thing I can say right now is, it sucks. It really sucks. It’s gonna suck for a while. Then, slowly, it’s gonna suck a little less. That’s all I’ve got for now.

But I was lucky. He was a good man. And I’ll keep finding him. In quiet, unremarkable moments, the ones he taught me to notice. That was one of his gifts to me. And I’ll see him in those moments now. by @tillyartist
