Just back from the (ongoing) @woodlandmakers Bowl Gathering in Wales. I had a great time on the Pre-Fest sloyd forging course with @nic_westermann and sheath and brush making with Nadine from @greenfoxwildcrafts on the Friday. Sadly had to come away early but shall return for all the shenanigans next year. What a great group of fearsomely talented and endlessly helpful and positive people. Loved every minute. A soggy day on the Northumberland coast path for the Macmillan Mighty Hike in memory of my brother-in-law Steve. Dry as a bone thanks to my overshirt and cap from @thebearandwolfco I really do rate this shirt - workshop all week, hike today and in the forge next week. Their new Stac jackets looks awesome too. Oh and between myself, my wife Ali and her sister Lorraine we raised nearly £1500 for the charity on our walk today. (Link in my bio) by @tim.biller

@buffalosystems - here you go. My beloved Windshirt from (I think, 1990-ish). Worn on virtually every hillwalk, cycling trip, as a windproof layer under my motorcycle jackets since. I will never be without it. by @tim.biller

Ali and I are off on our annual Macmillan Mighty Hike again this year in memory of Ali's brother Steve, lost to us through cancer in 2023.
We have Ali's sister Lorraine joining its for the Northumberland Half marathon next month. (hopefully slightly less damp...)
