I wouldn't normally root for another NFC Central team or players on that team, but I definitely rooted for JJ McCarthy tonight. It's great to see a proven winner get his first NFL win, especially after taking my UM Wolverines to an NCAA Championship. It was tough to see him go out with an injury last year, but he's still a winner with a lot of grit. That helped him bring the Vikings a win tonight I'm bummed to see him in the Lions' division, though, since I won't be able to root for him much more. He looks solid and will only get better. Matthias Andrew Buechler I may just have to root for your squad for a few games this year…not the ones where my Lions show up though. by @tim.leffel.1

Jacksonville friends! We are moving!

Our last days in the 904 is a chance to cherish every moment! Thats right! We are moving on to new experiences and challenges! If you want to hang out before we leave, message me on fb or on my cell. We are just packing and I would love to see you. And the pool will be open all week so bring your towel and suit for a quick dip! Pool breaks are happening almost daily at this point since it is so hot out! Love you all!

Pray for us as we venture a little further down into Florida! More gators and slightly bigger bugs and lizards. Haha

I’ll post another update to the where soon!

Some of you may want to help us. Once I know when that is, I’ll post that opportunity to stop by if you so choose to hang with us in our final moments here.

I almost fel like “Love” isn’t a strong enough word for how we feel about the friendships and long term connections that have been made here.

That being said, we love you Jax family and friends!

My Amanda…
Wow, can’t believe it’s been 20 years—so many memories are hitting me today! Amanda Davis Leffel…wow!

From cross-country adventures to raising our amazing kids and ringing in our 40s side by side—we’ve been through it all together. The highs, the lows, the everyday magic we create. I feel beyond blessed, deeply loved, and honestly… how did I get so lucky to find YOU? I can’t imagine doing the next 20 years (and then some) with anyone else. You’re beautiful, kind, full of love, and the most incredible mom to our kids (and our pup!). Here’s to us—then, now, and always. ❤️

I’d forgotten how much I love Star Wars: Rogue One—watching it again after Andor makes it even more impactful. It’s a shame the series ended after just two seasons. It was originally planned for five, then cut to three, and finally wrapped up in two.

Tony Gilroy originally had a five-season plan for Andor, but it got trimmed to three, and then crammed into just two. Kind of a bummer, especially since Season 1 took its time in the best way—super layered, political, and gritty. With more breathing room, they could’ve dug even deeper into the messy early days of the Rebellion.

If you haven’t seen Andor yet, do yourself a favor and watch it—then jump straight into Rogue One after. Such a great combo. Rogue One is still one of the best Star Wars movies out there. by @tim.leffel.1
