Sunday morning – time for a cheeky half. Nice to run round the Olympic park & see my old work place again. Also great to cross the finish line at the same time as a heavyweight king. Long hard day at the office, as they say. But let’s be honest, you don’t turn up at a marathon start line if you don’t want to do the work. New York City’s streets – and of course its many bridges – took me to task & made me dig deep.

So no PB for me in NYC, but the most incredible electrifying support from the crowds along the route & a day I’ll never forget.

Sydney Marathon was hot, hilly and hard work but so much fun. Might not think it cos I’m rarely smiling in any of the event photos – these are the best of the bunch.

Travelling onwards so haven’t had time to fully deal with footage I shot on the Osmo but here’s an epic frame from the Harbour Bridge at the start and a clip from the end. Nice of them to count me down across the finish line!

Didn’t entirely “smash it” due to a knee sprain at mile 20, but did have the most amazing #LondonMarathon last Sunday.

I'm running the London Marathon this Sunday for Scope, the disability equality charity. They provide practical information and emotional support when it's most needed, and they campaign for a fairer society where disabled people are treated equally, and not as second class citizens.

My plan is to complete all 26.2 miles. We'll see if my legs agree that's a good idea. If you can spare some cash to sponsor me that would be an amazing motivation to get to the finish line.
