Recenly bought myself a Tonykart rotax. These are some photo's of my first time on track with my new ride. You can see an onboard video on my Youtube channel (link in bio). The track was in Genk and we went with a group of friends Thank you @stefancremers for the pictures. And @rm19_racing and my brother for helping me with the kart and getting it ready ! And @bijnens_maarten_racing and @erwin.bijnens.376 for building up the engine 🔥 Still need to learn a lot and get to know the kart better. About last week 🙂 .. My first 1 hour indoor race in @kartingeupen. Race was organised by @okt_racing and a lot of good drivers entered. We had a 31 person grid. My main purpose was finish the race and I succeeded 😁👌🏼. I could not keep up with the others so finished 29th. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot by following others. But once you get lapped you cannot set good laptimes anymore because you keep moving aside for others. Atalanta .. This year there are a lot of butterfly's in the garden. This is a beautifull specimen called "Vanessa Atalanta" or in Dutch also "Admiraalvlinder" ..Very common in The Netherlands and Belgium .. This little owl was in the garden today😁. Needed maximum zoom (83x optical) to get this shot. It was not alone, there where a few of them, but this was the closest I got. They have amazing eyesight and probably see you before you see them 😄.
