Community is one of the greatest blessings Howard gave me. I never knew what having a true community of people who consistently showed up looked like until I met y’all. Through thick and thin, y’all have always been there. Forever grateful for my OVE💙💛

Leadership isn’t taught, it’s poured into you by people willing to take a chance on you. You took a chance on me, believed in me, and guided me into becoming the principled and polished leader I am today. Thank you for pouring so much into me.

To my Big,
Mentorship can change the trajectory of someone’s life. Thank you for the mentorship, the long nights, and for always believing in me and supporting me through everything.

To my friends,

Eid Mubarak from THEE Howard University Graduate 🌙✨

Eid al-Adha is a celebration of sacrifice, submission, and unwavering faith. Ibrahim (AS) trusted Allah completely, without hesitation. My mom carried that same mentality when she packed up everything she knew and brought this little Fulani girl from Mauritania to Brooklyn.

We left the only home we knew behind, didn’t understand the language, but had full trust in Allah SWT.

Now a first gen, Howard grad, paying it back in full. Alhamdulillah 🤍
