So excited to launch the new art website along with a collection of new work. As many of you know, I love the creative side of marketing almost as much as painting itself, and I’m excited for you to take a look.

There are new original paintings, fresh print releases, pieces perfect for Mother’s Day, and a few exclusive releases now available.

Thank you for the ongoing support of my art journey. It truly means a lot.

There’s something about Huntington Beach at 7:30am… the quiet, the cool air, and a little inspiration . Last week’s morning walk was good for the soul.

It was my grandfather who really gave me a deep love and appreciation for Tahoe’s beautiful, timeliness wooden boats. As a kid, I have great memories watching these classic boats from the deck of the house in Lake Tahoe as they flew up and down the lake.

Every time one would speed by, my grandfather would take his binoculars out and have me look with him as they went by.

I often worry that the classic wooden boats of Lake Tahoe will slowly disappear in favor of the newest speed boats that get faster and flashier every year. But thankfully each year I go up to Tahoe, it actually seems to be more of them out on the water than the previous year. Thankfully I’m not the only one who appreciates their timeless beauty.

Like my grandfather did with me, I always make it a point to have Annie come join me to take a look at the boats as they drive by. I hope I can instill the same love of these iconic boats in her that my grandfather did in me.

My first boat painting has already headed off to a beach house in Dana Point, and I can’t wait to see where this one lands next. “Lake Tahoe Classics” 36 by 48 oil on panel is now available at timcollomgallery.com for purchase.

I’ve always loved olive trees and lately I’ve been on a kick of painting the ones I see in the Napa and Sonoma valleys.
