Only at SmirkLordz Studios, man I was gonna tell this story in complete detail but it’s too sweet to share. Long story short. Got the chance to fan out 10x harder than necessary when meeting Dexter Redding, eldest son of legendary recording artist Otis Redding, the man responsible for writing and making my favorite song of all time. It’s a trip to think I’m the same age Otis passed at. How many decades ago and still remains.

FREE PRESCRIPTION LENS SERVICES FOR ALL DUVAL COUNTY RESIDENTS TODAY, TOMORROW, AND FOREVER. The goal with time-place from day 1 was to rewrite the Eyewear industry playbook. The overwhelmingly unnecessary greed from the Italian conglomerate @essilorluxottica was the first problem that needed addressing. Shades are cool, I like selling shades to people who WANT them. But, there’s something entirely about different selling free prescription lenses to people who NEED them. As a life long blind person, I’ve never enjoyed a single eye doctor visit or experience when buying new glasses, so much so for 26 years I kinda just accepted my vision deficit. Time-Place may be covering the cost of lenses because well, fuck it it’s my company and that’s some dope shit to do, but these are by no way shape or form sup par budget lenses. Danny has been in the optical lens industry since the age of 8 when a Jewish eye doctor adopted him off the streets of Brooklyn. He’s an incredible innovator and pioneer in lens technology. Typical budget labs have a 10-20% differential from what the Rx describes and the lens produced. Danny’s lab, nothing leaves that isn’t perfect with a max differential of an incredible 1%. Were stoked to begin marketing FASTEST AND HIGHEST QUALITY OPTICAL LENS IN THE WORLD, at zero cost to anyone who resides in duval county where time-place started.
