We collected around £500 donated to charities, sold lots of fun and interesting art, laughed a load, danced a bit, and spent time with over 60 interesting people who all gave there time to come by and check it out! Thank you to everyone and we are looking forward to the next art show ! by @timecapsuleartshow

Our wonderful artist, Sue Dray @suedraylcf, has chosen the incredibly important Glassdoor @glassdoorlondon organisation to support with our upcoming TimeCapsule ArtShow. 'Our vision is a future where no one experiences homelessness in London. We offer advice, shelter and support with our community partners, helping people build a route out of homelessness. Our services are open access – this means that anyone experiencing or at risk of homelessness can turn to Glass Door regardless of who they are or where they are from. Not all services are right for everyone, but no one will be turned away without an offer of support. Year-round, people find advice and support to end their homelessness through trained caseworkers based at partnering drop-in centres. During the hard months of winter, Glass Door also provides emergency winter night shelter. TimeCapsule ArtShow is proud to say that we are supporting multiple charities in our show on the 6th of June. William Trevitt @williamtrevitt chose @sheltercharity to support with his works. ‘Shelter’s mission is to defend the right to a safe home and end the devastating impact of the housing emergency by providing direct legal and support services, while campaigning to secure long-term systems change. The charity operates on three core pillars: ☎️Direct Support: Offering free emergency helplines, one-to-one advice on housing and homelessness, and free legal services for those facing eviction. 🫂Campaigning: Driving activism and lobbying the government for systemic changes to policy, tenancy laws, and housing supply. 🔍Research: Investigating the root causes of the UK’s housing crisis to advocate for solutions that ensure everyone has access to safe, secure, and affordable housing.’ - shelter.com William will be donating a portion of his proceeds from the TimeCapsule ArtShow to support Shelter, and we encourage everyone to read and learn more about this charity. One of the charities the TimeCapsule ArtShow is supporting is Tostan @tostaninc . Artist @eliza.a.palmer has been supporting this charity for a long time, alongside her parents, who are strong supporters of women's and girls' safety and rights, as well as community engagement and providing education, safety, and healthcare to everyone. "Tostan works to empower rural and remote African communities to bring about positive social transformation and sustainable development through a holistic empowering education program. The core of Tostan’s work is the Community Empowerment Program, which is a three-year, non-formal education program that facilitates community-led development and social progress. Tostan’s Training, Sharing, and Mutual Learning programs are a response to growing requests from community activists, NGOs, philanthropists, and government leaders to learn from our proven model of Community Empowering Education." - Tostan.com Eliza will be donating 50% of her proceeds from the TimeCapsule ArtShow to support Tostan, and encourages everyone to read and learn more about this charity, which provides life-changing opportunities and supplies to thousands of people. by @timecapsuleartshow
