We’ve had a lot of requests from DOPs and filmmakers who want to take their scopes with them - without needing a laptop or a full monitoring setup.

So… we’re bringing Nobe OmniScope to iPad!

We’re currently testing the beta, and we’d love to get it into the hands of the people who want to test it on their workflows. Want to be part of the beta? Comment “iPad” below and we’ll send you the details.

We want to also thank @tobia_montanari for providing us some visuals! Check him out ;-)

DITs, OB vans & live production - this one’s for you 🎥

Live production means keeping an eye on more than just the picture. Multiple feeds, graded signals, focus, recording, audio levels and technical monitoring all need to work together often in real time. With Live Pack you get your waveform, vectorscope, false colour, histogram and other analysis tools alongside the additional capabilities you need for live and on-set monitoring.

Professional color grading is all about the process.

Every adjustment has its place, from building a clean foundation to refining contrast, color, and the final look.

The right order creates consistency, control, and better results.

Not your usual view from the DIT cart. 👀

A Local 600 DIT based in NYC shared this photo of OmniScope for iPad while working on a commercial, with the Empire State Building in the background.

His setup uses a DJI SDR transmitter on the cart, with a lightweight receiver mounted to the iPad cage. Pretty neat to see how it all comes together on location.

We love seeing how people work with OmniScope in the real world, so if you're using it on iPad, show us your setup! Whether it's on a cart, on set, or somewhere unexpected, we'd love to see it.

Color grading isn’t just about making an image look better.

It’s about how the image communicates.

Color, contrast, density, separation, and even removing familiar visual elements can change the way an audience reads and feels a frame.

Sometimes the right grade makes an image more beautiful. Sometimes it makes it darker, quieter, colder, or less comfortable.

Because the goal isn’t always beauty.

The goal is intention.
The goal is communication.

"My philosophy as a colourist is simple: to offer directors and cinematographers more than they expect when we begin discussing a new project."

From analogue editing suites in southern Italy to a purpose-built grading studio in Sydney, Antonio Centonze has spent more than four decades working in post-production. His journey has taken him through television, editing, compositing, VFX and some of the earliest generations of digital colour correction - eventually leading him to a career dedicated to colour grading.

Today, Antonio specialises in high-end colour grading and finishing, working across feature films, television, commercials and music videos. His approach combines technical precision with creative instinct, always putting the story and collaboration first.

A great grade starts long before the final look.

It starts with understanding the image, building the right color pipeline, balancing each shot, creating consistency, and knowing exactly where every adjustment belongs in your workflow.

When your workflow is structured, color grading becomes faster, cleaner, and far more intentional.

That’s the difference between simply adjusting colors and working like a professional colorist.
