The Medallion: The Origin of Everything

💚What if a love story survived the end of time?
After a catastrophic accident on the Moon, a small silver medallion bearing the portraits of two human beings is ejected into the emptiness of space.

The medallion drifts through the cosmos for thousands of years. Civilizations rise and fall. Stars are born and die. Yet the two faces engraved in its metal remain together, carrying the memory of a love story that the universe has seemingly forgotten.

Until one day, something discovers it.

A mysterious female entity, a Matrioshka Brain, an artificial superintelligence of unimaginable power, finds the medallion.

Fascinated by the two human faces, she begins investigating their origins, their lives and the extraordinary bond that united them. What begins as curiosity gradually becomes an obsession.

Who were they? What happened to them? Why were their faces preserved together?

She decides to search for their lost consciousnesses, across galaxies, across time, beyond the limits of human existence.

Her search eventually leads her to CED, a brilliant engineer who becomes the first human being to transfer his consciousness into a hybrid body.

At the precise moment of the transfer, CED's consciousness connects to the Matrioshka Brain, which has already been searching for him.

Through this extraordinary connection, she grants CED the ability to travel through space and time and to connect with two other mysterious entities he begins to perceive: KOB and ANGELA.
