The Veles Industries Precision Rifle Class was a hit! Veracity Solutions was an awesome addition and brought a ton of knowledge to the course. My brain is still fried from everything we covered.

The foundation of long-range shooting is something that continues to evolve for me. Every shot, every class, and every event is an opportunity to learn, improve, and sharpen the fundamentals. There’s always more to take away and more work to be done.

A special thanks to everyone who helped teach and share their knowledge, as well as the landowner for providing an incredible range with a plethora of steel targets at varying distances. Having a place like that to train makes all the difference.

Great instruction, great people, and a great class all around. I highly recommend catching the next one.

Continue to learn. Continue to improve.

Own it and wear it.

Today, I had the opportunity to compete in a team pistol match with some homies. This was my first time participating in any kind of shooting event, let alone a competition.

It was great meeting people from other agencies, including retirees who are still out there getting after it. One of the best parts was seeing shooters of all experience levels continuing to challenge themselves and sharpen their skills.

We ended up taking 2nd place—not bad for three of us who had never competed in an event like this before, especially considering two of us, myself included, came straight off a graveyard shift.

Great experience, great people, and plenty learned. On to the next one. Own it and wear it.

It’s been a minute, but the past few weeks have been busy with FIFA operations. I had the opportunity to work alongside multiple agencies supporting overwatch positions throughout the city. It was a great experience seeing how different teams operate, the equipment they run, and exchanging knowledge with professionals who have years of experience in the craft. Every agency brought something different to the table, and I walked away learning something new from each of them.

Seeing everyone come together and work seamlessly toward a common mission was pretty awesome. Experiences like this push me to keep learning, improving, and becoming better at what I do. Grateful for the opportunity, the new connections, and everything I was able to take away from it.

I saw the Tudor 7928 a few years ago and have been looking for the right one for quite some time. A lot of Tudors have been collected since and I can finally say that I have found it! The Tudor 7928 is unique in its own way and there is nothing like it. The dial is immaculate and the ghost bezel shows the history of its use throughout the years. The fact that I was able to add this to the collection.

Thanks to @collectors.corner.ny for another amazing time piece. This is my second purchase from @collectors.corner.ny and it’s always a great experience. Wes is great at giving information about the watch, the history and honest opinion of the watches condition. Check out his page for other watches to add to your collection.

Another @bruiserindustries class in the books: Precision Rifle Course. The intensive program combined Applied Ballistics (with a Kestrel) and hands-on bolt-rifle operation to deliver repeatable hits on steel targets out to 1,000 yards. Long, focused training days with excellent instruction and practical results. Shooting, spotting, cigars & good company — perfect weekend.

Decided to get my 2010 HD Dyna up and running again. She’s definitely been neglected. This journey started when I was stationed in Ft. Drum NY. My buddy Sean, sold me on getting a HD Dyna. Luckily I found one for 10k with 4k miles just before my move to Ft. Benning.

Bought all the parts when I was stationed in Ft. Benning. I spent hours wrapping the Thunderheader exhaust. The wrap turned out great. I found a local mom and pop shop that put all the parts on for a great price.

I was contemplating selling her but once I started her up it reminded me about the accomplishments and the journey it took to purchase and build her. The Tudor Pelagos 39 adds a nice touch as well. Wear your watch with pride.

Sometimes you need to travel with more than just one. Thanks to @grey.area.co for the watch rolls. Super light weight and gives me a few options to wear when traveling. Keep them and wear them!

Another day of training in the books. Started the day with the building on surveillance skills/vehicle tactics and then getting some rounds down range. Working on getting out of various vehicle types, shooting, moving and communicating. Not a bad day. -With your shield or on it-

After one Tudor comes another! The hunt for an all Tudor Submariner was necessary. All Tudor, meaning the crown, case back, newer bracelet, everything is Tudor. While I respect and enjoy Rolex’s, there is something about Tudor that really catches my attention. The simplicity and subtleness of the design.

I was finally able to find one. A 1995 Tudor Submariner. Black dial and all Tudor! Persistence and patience wins and this one is an awesome Timeless Shield to add to the collection. Thank you to @bulangandsons for making the purchase and easy one. Communication was excellent and shipping from the Netherlands to Cali was fast!

Own it, wear it, live it!
