After years of using in-ear monitoring, I finally decided to pull the trigger on my first pair of custom-made in-ear monitors. Having heard good things about the Polish manufacturer Custom Art, I decided to take a leap with their FIBAE 5 model.

This incredible pair of monitors offers brilliant accuracy across the entire frequency range while still managing to deliver a clear and massive low end. These monitors have taken my live performing to a new level, bringing a sense of relaxation and newfound precision to my playing with all the bands I get to be involved in.

First time after switching to in-ear monitoring i feel like I’m playing in a room with two Ampeg SVT full stacks. Highly recommended 10 out of 10!

We have the privilege of kicking off the evening’s proceedings this Friday at @barkotelo ! It’s going to be a special EP release show for the wonderful main attraction of the night: @rioghanband

In preparation for the night we’ve had a bit of fun covering each other’s material. Our friend Mika from @timeprimermusic did an amazing job singing our song Burn, so I thought I’d take an acoustic crack at one of my favourite Rioghan songs: Teardrop.

Throwback to our time in Studio Watercastle recording our debut album Artefact! Here's Sami banging the outro of the opening song The Stand🏏

We've ignored this one for a while, should we do it live some day?
