Note on my wardrobe 👔 :

This outfit was crafted by @partofsu graduate @_________blueblue .

Nowadays, most Thai Nora costumes are made with beads. This piece was created to help younger generations gain a deeper understanding of the cultural significance of traditional Nora attire while reinterpreting its beauty through contemporary fashion. Through her research, the designer discovered that the original Nora costumes used textile patterns to tell stories and express traditions of the past.

Inspired by this history, she created a Nora costume that represents the Southern Thai Wai Khru (teacher-honoring) ceremony through textile patterns. The design draws from two important ritual elements known as Tang Kae (i.e. the hand-painted crocodile motif) and Klong Hong (i.e. the silk-screen printed feather motifs). by @timethius

As Pride 2026 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on the magical way that I began this season: presenting to, learning from, and quite literally breaking bread with young scholars and activist from around the world.

What a joyful first visit to the Netherlands! 🇳🇱 ✨️

More from Bangkok Pride Awards 2026 😲

Note on my wardrobe 👔 :
The top of this outfit was crafted by @partofsu student @mujumeji. The garment comes from a larger collection that examines modern youths' internal battle between self-determination and societal expectation. The patterns on the coat were created by layering photographs taken by a Thai law school student who carries a burning passion for photography 📸 Years of memories combine to document her own search for identity while transitioning into adulthood.
