This 8-week course is held in Gelber Raum and online via Zoom. All participants will receive the Zoom info to join the course online together with their booking confirmation via email.

Find new ways to enjoy your practice, with this accessible immersion into the timeless concept of uniting practice and life. We will practice yoga, breathing techniques and the first principles of relaxation/meditation.

All of us who like yoga have heard these terms: the sutras, the koshas, pranayama, ahimsa, Patanjali, the eight limbs, and so many more — and it is easy to start believing that all these complicated, esoteric terms are mega-abstract and have nothing to do with what your life, on or off the mat. However, applying a basic understanding of that classical Yoga paradigm to your own practice (in classes or at home) can take your experience to a new level of insight and depth.

Instructed by Tim, an advanced Yellow Yoga yoga and meditation instructor with extensive experience teaching in New York, Amsterdam and Berlin, this 8-week course will help you gain an understanding of what the sutras are, and what place our own asana routine has in these scriptures.
