Hello friends and prepare to be TIM-fluenced. Ryan and I have a new zine out. It’s 35 pages of film photos and travelogue text full bleed printed inside a card stock cover. I feel like at this point I really gotta stop saying I’m gonna post on Instagram more cause it’s just a lie. The dog in me has no patience for social media photo formatting no matter how hard I try. The usual. Mostly film photos. Mostly tattoos and jiu jitsu and friends. Hope everyone is doing well. May is almost over, it a particularly rainy and wet couple of days as I post this. But June is just around the corner. I’ll be outta town next weekend but have plenty of openings shortly thereafter. I’m trying to do some freaky splatted tats Nickelodeon style, and some gap filler stuff on those spots you don’t know what to do with. I hope everyone is having a nice spring. I will continue to try and post more pictures. No promises though. See ya soon. For my photo nerds. The black and white photos are half frame 35mm tri-x pushed to 800 and developed at home. The color photos are 35mm Kodak gold with one medium format portra 400 snuck in there. Oh and the last picture of nick and chad is medium format as well. by @timhuck_

Proof of life and tattoos. Gonna go short and sweet this time. iPhone photos of tattoos. Film photos of life, love, and friendships. I’ve got jury duty keeping me out of the shop this week for an indeterminate amount of time, but if you’ve got a flexible daytime schedule this week and wanna get tattooed shoot me a message in the event that I only have to go for a day or two I would love to squeeze some fun tats. Hello friends, this is a sappy appreciation post in celebration of all my time spent with my friends, loved ones, and coworkers @keycitytattoo and @kct_urbana. It’s officially “starting a new chapter” in my tatt career season, (details to follow) but that’s a different post for a different time. This post is for expressing how deeply I appreciate and value all the good times I’ve had with the whole key city crew since the beginning. @gg.tat2 and @johnrippeyv are the reason I’m not selling popcorn on the side of the road and living under a bridge right now. Their mentorship and guidance is what’s allowed me to have any sense of independence I have in my tattoo “career” at this point and really there’s no way of being able to properly thank them other than making this effort to acknowledge it to the world. Not a tattoo goes by that I don’t make decisions based off what I think John, Gary, or @nate_sprenkle_tattoos would do if they were doing the tattoo, and for that I just gotta say thanks guys, it may not look like it, but I promise I’m trying. These guys spent countless hours teaching me everything they could force through my stubborn little skull to make me a half way decent tattooer and I’ll always be grateful for that. Truly. And everyone else past and present in the key city journey I appreciate you as well. There’s been so many incredible people and artists I’ve worked with between the two shops, both as full time artists, and guest artists, that have permanently shaped the way I think about the world and tattoos for the better. For all my clients over the years I can’t thank y’all enough either. Don’t worry I won’t be too, too far away and I’ll be in and out of KCT from time to time to make sure none of you guys get left behind. If you’ve got an appointment with me in November I’ll be reaching out to confirm or consolidate onto a few days as I work out my transition to my new location and schedule.
