Thank you to everyone who came out for First Friday Art Walk last night and celebrated the debut of our new exhibition with us!

As many of you saw while popping in over the past week, we’ve been busy bringing together fresh work from the incredibly talented group of artists we’re so fortunate to represent.

After a week of long days, new arrivals, moving, hanging, rearranging (and rearranging again!), it was so exciting to finally see it all come together...and even better to share it with all of you.

Our new exhibition will be up through the end of January, so if you didn’t make it out last night, come on over! We’ll be here, and we can’t wait to show you around and tell you all about it. taken in Plum Gallery by @timjaegerpainter

Six years ago, I was commissioned by the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County to create two murals for the North Lido Beach pavilion. This piece honors the historic Lido Beach Casino, a glamorous WPA-era landmark built in 1940. Designed by Ralph Twitchell, it was once the heartbeat of Sarasota’s social scene, featuring a ballroom, pool, and cabanas before it was eventually demolished in 1969.

I’ve always loved the mural process, and sketching out the design is one of my favorite stages. I’ve included both the initial concept sketch and the final mural here for you to see. I hope you enjoy these pieces—and as always, don't forget to get out and enjoy our beautiful beaches.
Peace, peace, peace.

In a world that rarely stops spinning, I’ve found that silence isn’t just the absence of sound—it’s a visual space.

Reflecting this rainy Sunday afternoon on one of the most meaningful collaborations of my life: the Berkeley Chapel windows in Tampa, Florida, created with glass artist and dear friend Jim Piercey.

More than two years in the making, the project brought together 400+ individual panes of glass to transform a 9,000-square-foot, all-faiths chapel into a space filled with light, color, and movement. It was an incredible undertaking and a true collaboration—bringing painting and glass together to create something that changes throughout the day as the Florida sunlight moves through the chapel.

This project has always been deeply personal to me. My father was an Episcopal priest, so the opportunity to combine my lifelong connection to sacred spaces with my passion for creating art felt like a perfect fit.

Sadly, my father passed away just two months before the chapel was consecrated. He never had the chance to see the completed space, but I think of him every time I see sunlight pouring through those windows. In many ways, I know his light and spirit live within them.

Forever grateful to Jim for his friendship, extraordinary craftsmanship, and for sharing this remarkable journey with me.

A little behind the scenes with Tim Jaeger’s "Bay Run 2" and "Watermelon Weather" No. 2 & 3 🍉

We love seeing paintings in the studio before they make their way to Plum, we love curating them once they arrive, and we may love daydreaming where they’ll live next most of all ♥️

Can you imagine waking up to this coastal bliss every day? We sure can 😍😍😍 taken in Plum Gallery by @timjaegerpainter

Last week, my newest exhibition, Intermission, opened in the Feature Gallery at Arts on Douglas.
.
The exhibition features 13 recent paintings that continue my exploration of schools of fish as metaphors for movement, connection, and the quiet spaces between moments. In these new works, the imagery becomes increasingly layered and immersive, inviting viewers to slow down, reflect, and consider the balance between individuality and belonging.
.
Intermission will remain on view through July 25, and I’m incredibly grateful to my friend Jon Dowd for his impeccable art handling and to Juliana Romnes and Megan Martin for mounting such a beautiful exhibition and for the tremendous care, professionalism, and attention they bring to the gallery. It’s an honor to have this work presented in such a thoughtful space.
.
If you find yourself in New Smyrna Beach this summer, I hope you'll stop by and see it.
