I’m very proud of the sale of this wonderful home in downtown Sebastopol. I was the listing agent of this property(technically a Triplex) in 2021. It was a work in process at that time…we had 9 offers as many saw the potential. It sold for $2.525m. The winning buyers then proceeded to add heart and money into the home…to the point that little, if anything, needed to be done. Fast forward(I have been counseling the owners for about 1.5 years) to listing the home in May for $3.5m…those who came to see the home were impressed with the finishes and the work done on the yard…luckily a couple from Burlingame were deciding whether to remodel or move. When they saw this home, the immediately fell in love…and they are the perfect buyers! They hung in there with some unexpected challenges and are now the proud owners of the highest priced home sale in Downtown Sebastopol(although I don’t think that will stick…I have high hopes for Sebastopol’s price appreciation!). These are the moments we live for as Realtors…I was proud to be the number 1 agent in Occidental a few years back(😜) and now I have helped to set a new standard in a town I admire and desperately wish I could live in(Dean is committed to Sonoma and our friends here!).
