WORD FOR THOGHT

I, MBURU WA WANGARĨ wish to share what l believes are the key principles immigrants should embrace to build a successful life in the Diaspora and at home too.
I would like to urge newcomers to respect laws, work hard, maintain honesty and integrity. l also encourage learning other people’s languages where necessary to improve opportunities and integration.

I also encourage immigrants to build friendships beyond their own communities, contribute through work, paying taxes and volunteering, and raise their children to value education, responsibility Investments and respect for others.

I would also like to add on why not to engage in driving under the influence, in fraud or any illegal activities, saying such actions can have lasting legal, financial and immigration consequences, while also affecting future immigrants seeking opportunities in the Diaspora too.

I find it Worthy for immigrants to build wealth through lawful means, appreciate All institutions and freedoms, and strive to to do even more better than they are doing by making positive contributions.
I Continues to advise immigrants to show gratitude and respect for the opportunities available.

Closer Than You Think

In one unsuspecting moment, everything can change.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
Psalm 34:18 NLT

David, the writer of Psalm 34, preached what he lived. He experienced some intense highs and fierce lows, but he recognized God’s presence in the midst of his circumstances. He knew that God was near, and God could change any situation in an instant.

Is your heart broken? Is your spirit crushed?

God is near.
He hasn’t left you to fight for yourself.
He sees you in your heartbreak.
He meets you where you are.
He has not forgotten you.
He has not abandoned you.

This doesn’t mean you won’t face hard things. But even when your mind races and your heart doubts, God offers a peace and an intimacy that cannot be fully explained.

Because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, we now have constant access to God’s presence through His Holy Spirit. There are many places in the Bible where the Holy Spirit is described as the Comforter—ready to soothe, guide, counsel, and encourage.

The comfort we receive from God is a gift from His Spirit who is always with us. So if your heart is breaking and your spirit is crushed, know that you are in good hands. God is near, and He will not abandon you.

Trials and hardships are a part of life, but God has the final say.

Right now, take a few moments to name anything that has crushed your spirit. Then, give yourself permission to just sit in God’s presence for a few moments. When you’re ready, consider memorizing today’s verse and meditating on it throughout your day. by @timmonahjm

WHO ARE WE??

Greetings 👋

Sometimes we have to examine our hearts and minds to assess who we really are.

Below is a simple self test we can apply to see if our lives line up with God perfect will for His children.

“Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.”
