烟火一样✨短暂的灿烂美好时光 ❤️
All the tiny fragments of my Taiwan memories, each one a piece of my heart ❤️
.
.
.

.
So someone asked what is real meaning of Mid Autumn Festival ?!?
.
The real traditional story of Chang’e (嫦娥) behind the Mid-Autumn Festival, here’s the classic version. Not the mobile legends Chang’e🤣 It’s a Chinese legend, not a historically verified event, and there are several versions.

🌕 The Legend of Chang’e and the Moon

Long ago, according to the legend, there were ten suns in the sky. They took turns appearing, but one day all ten appeared together, causing the earth to become unbearably hot. Crops withered and people suffered.

A great archer named Hou Yi (后羿) came to help. He used his extraordinary archery skills to shoot down nine of the ten suns, leaving only one to warm the earth.

Hou Yi loved his wife, Chang’e (嫦娥), and did not want to become immortal without her, so he kept the elixir at home.

One day, while Hou Yi was away, a man named Peng Meng tried to steal the elixir. To prevent him from taking it, Chang’e swallowed it herself.

After drinking it, she became weightless and flew toward the moon. Because she loved Hou Yi and wanted to remain as close to him as possible, she chose to live on the Moon.

When Hou Yi returned and learned what had happened, he was devastated. He looked toward the brightest full moon and saw what he believed was Chang’e.

He placed her favourite fruits and cakes outside as an offering to her.

From then on, people are said to have admired the full moon and offered mooncakes and fruits during the Mid-Autumn Festival in remembrance of Chang’e.

❤️ The deeper meaning

The story isn’t simply about a woman living on the Moon. It’s often interpreted as a story about love, separation, longing, sacrifice, and reunion.

That’s why the full moon is so important during Mid-Autumn Festival: people who are separated from loved ones can look at the same moon and feel connected.

And that’s also why Chang’e is traditionally associated with the Moon and is one of the most famous figures of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Lost his parent at a very young age
Lost his Aunt
Lost his Mentor
Lost his Love and best friend
Lost his Identity
Lost his Job
Yet, he still chooses to save people.

I felt exactly the same way he did about what we had lost😭

We was lost. Hopeless. Forced to walk through darkest chapter.

But darkness was never the end of the story.

Peter Parker: I believe that things are suppose to happen always find a way to happen.

Sometimes they make sense.
Sometimes they don’t and
Sometimes they really really hurt but

“It’s Okay.”

Because those things put us on a path to becoming

Who we’re meant to be.

and this is who I meant to be.

Just like Peter Parker, a bite awakened more than just spider senses,it awakened the strength that had always been waiting within me.🕷️🕸️

It became the fire that shaped my resilience, the pain that built purpose, and the struggle that revealed who I was meant to become.

Every fall became a lesson.
Every scar became a reminder.
Every setback became the beginning of something greater.✨

It’s a year of Rebirth 重生 🔥
